The Season of Creation 2026 invites us to do something essential: to pause, reflect, and
understand 🌍

We have prepared a document that explores the meaning of this year’s theme, Living Water—a guide
to connecting faith with action and responding to the call of our Common Home.

📖 Read it, let it challenge you, and discover how to be part of the change.

Because all transformation begins when we understand and decide to act. 💚

🌿 Season of Creation 2026

This year we will be guided by the vision of the prophet Ezekiel (47:1–12): a river flowing from the temple of God, which grows without stopping and brings life where everything seems barren.

Water heals, restores, and makes creation flourish. But it also challenges us: to recognize ecological damage, to embrace our interconnectedness, and to immerse ourselves in the responsibility of caring for and restoring our Common Home.

🌍May this Season of Creation be a path for the healing of the Earth and human well-being to flourish together.

"Hold nothing back of yourselves for yourselves..." The God of peace is with us!

Hallelujah!
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, we and the whole Church will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost in synodality. On the same day, the Laudato Si’ Week, which started yesterday, Sunday, May 17, Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, will also come to its end. The theme of the year “From Hope to Action” inspired our JPIC Team to create a booklet for us to pray and reflect on about the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit in the context of the Encyclical Laudato Si’. We offer this booklet for your reflection as we move from Hope to Action in our gratitude for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
