To promote the social, physical, psychological and intellectual training and education of people within the Community, in particular the young people in such ways as the charity’s trustees think fit, including by:
a. Awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any university, college or institution of higher or further education;
b. Assisting in providing t
heir education (including the study of music or other arts, but in particular Business), to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment;
c. To assist in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, any other charity or cause whose aims include advancing education of persons of the Community by developing their mental, physical and moral capabilities through various activities;
d. To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the community who may be socially and economically disadvantaged in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their own needs and participate more fully in society”
2. To promote the principles of equality and diversity for the public benefit by:
(a) the elimination of discrimination against members of the Community on the grounds of race;
(b) advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity;
(c) promoting activities to foster understanding between the Community and other groups from diverse backgrounds;
(d) advancing educating and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial groups
(e) cultivating and advocating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity and promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial Communities
3. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people in the Community who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
4. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in the community who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by:
to providing a local network group that encourages and enables members of the community to participate more effectively, equally and fairly with the wider community;
To increase, or co-ordinate, opportunities for members of the community to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of the community.”
To provide members of the community with opportunities to build capacity by establishing and growing businesses to relieve their needs and assist them to integrate into society.
