Caribbean Regional Youth Council The objectives of C.R.Y.C.

The Caribbean Regional Youth Council is the Collective voice of Caribbean Youth, National Youth Councils (NYCs), National Youth Organizations and Youth Structures and represents the voice of youth for the Caribbean. are as follows

• To facilitate and support organizational development among all NYCs

• To ensure that NYCs maintain strong democratic and administrative structures.

• To seek opport

unities for the young people of the region to address issues affecting them.

• To improve the representation of youth at regional and international levels.

• To foster cooperation and collaboration with agencies that facilitates youth development.

• To safeguard the rights and interests of youth to ensure that they are not discriminated against or marginalized.

• To act as a central point of contact and representation for all NYCs .

• To advocate for youth issues to be included on the agendas at the highest level of decision making of government, development and civil society agencies, as well as academia.

• To serve as a central coordinator for regional and international youth days, and youth related observances.

• To provide and disseminate information on youth work and issues in the region.
