πŸ” Strengthening Audit Quality Through QAIP

Maintaining a strong Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) is essential for demonstrating conformance with the Global Internal Audit Standardsβ„’ and supporting continuous improvement within the internal audit function.

Through IIA Quality Services, organisations can access independent assessments and advisory services designed to help internal audit functions:

βœ”οΈ Demonstrate conformance with the Standards
βœ”οΈ Identify improvement opportunities
βœ”οΈ Enhance stakeholder confidence
βœ”οΈ Evaluate audit effectiveness and efficiency
βœ”οΈ Align audit activities with organisational strategies and risks

An External Quality Assessment (EQA) is required at least once every five years by a qualified, independent assessor as part of QAIP requirements.

Completing an EQA allows organisations to confidently β€œFlash Your Seal of Quality” and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
