Maintaining a strong Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) is essential for demonstrating conformance with the Global Internal Audit Standards™ and supporting continuous improvement within the internal audit function.

Through IIA Quality Services, organisations can access independent assessments and advisory services designed to help internal audit functions:

Did you know?

The IIA TT Chapter extends sincere thanks to Mr. Kiel Taklalsingh and Mr. Vivek Lakhan-Joseph for delivering an insightful and impactful presentation during our Special Membership Meeting & Second Chapter Meeting for 2026.

Your session on Strengthening Internal Audit Reports for Legal Scrutiny: Lessons from Trinidad & Tobago Case Law and IIA Standards provided participants with valuable legal and professional perspectives on the evolving role of internal audit reporting.

Attendees greatly appreciated the practical guidance shared on developing legally robust audit reports, aligning reporting practices with the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, and understanding how internal audit reports are increasingly tested in legal and regulatory environments.
