Todayโs session was a powerful reminder that thriving is not about perfection, constant productivity, or pushing ourselves to emotional exhaustion.
As we concluded our ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ: ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ก & ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ, we were reminded that managing the work truly starts with managing the mind.
Through an engaging and reflective conversation led by Brendon Brathwaite Braithwaite, participants explored how modern culture often celebrates overworking while overlooking the importance of balance, emotional intelligence, vulnerability, self-awareness and intentional connection.
One question stood out deeply:
โ๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐?โ
The session challenged us to reflect on the internal narratives we carry โ the pressure we place on ourselves, the fear of failure, and the belief that external factors are the only things holding us back.
A particularly moving moment highlighted the importance of perspective and vulnerability: a father sharing his old report book with his daughter to remind her that setbacks do not define her future.
We also explored the value of creativity, adaptability and meaningful connection, recognising that impactful experiences are not always about grand gestures, but about presence, effort and humanity.
