Hello everyone !

Guess what? We’re going to World Youth Day! Have you ever heard of it?

It’s a meeting of Young Catholics from all over the world who come together for 5 days to immerse themselves in their Catholic Faith and most importantly, get to meet the Pope!

This year, it’s happening in, 📍 PORTUGAL 🇵🇹

It’ll be a great experience and of course build many memories. Maybe you may think this is not something for you, but maybe it’s the beginning of something for YOU!

Elysia ⬇️

My name is Elysia Cumberbatch. I went to SJC POS and was introduced to Eston in 2018 through the mentorship programme. This programme helped me realise my love for working with kids and so i’ve also helped out with summer camps over the past few years.

Currently, I’m doing a double major in Biology and Biochemistry at UWI St Augustine but I still come to Eston to help out during Thursday club and whenever else I’m needed!

Eston has been a really great experience for me, I love spending time with the people there and with the girls who come to the club.

Mentoring the girls has also helped me grow as young woman as i’m encouraged to be the best version of myself to set a good example for them. I thank God that I was given the opportunity to be a part of the work done at Eston because it has become such a big part of my life.

Thursday’s have become my favourite day of the week!!
