To all the young people studying during this exam season — remember that your mental health matters just as much as your grades. 💚✨

Do your best, but also give yourself permission to rest, breathe, and recharge. Take breaks, stay hydrated, sleep well, and speak kindly to yourself during stressful moments. Progress is still progress, even when it feels slow.

Exams are only one chapter of your journey, not your entire story. You are capable, resilient, and stronger than you think. Keep going — you’ve got this! 📚💛

On March 9th 2026, The Willow Foundation Executives attended Commonwealth Youth Forum hosted by The Parliament of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It was inspiring to see young leaders, students, and changemakers come together for the Commonwealth Day Youth Forum at the Red House. Conversations on leadership, education, innovation, and global opportunities reminded us that the future of the Commonwealth is being shaped by the ideas and energy of young people today.

The Willow Foundation continues its strive for us to continue “Unlocking Opportunities for a Prosperous Commonwealth.”

The Willow Foundation 2025 Christmas Hamper Drive was held on Saturday 20th December 2025 in San Juan

The infographic above highlights the impact of The Willow Foundation 2025 Christmas Hamper Drive, an initiative grounded in compassion, community service, and our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal #1: No Poverty.

Through this year’s drive, 15 households were supported, directly benefiting 50 individuals, including children, adults, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Assistance was delivered across communities in North-West and Central Trinidad, reaching families facing food insecurity, unemployment, and economic hardship—particularly single-parent households, which made up a significant portion of those assisted.

This initiative reflects our belief that access to basic necessities is a fundamental right and that collective action can make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families.

💚💛 We extend our heartfelt thanks to every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who contributed to making the 2025 Christmas Hamper Drive a success. Your generosity and commitment continue to strengthen our communities and bring hope where it is most needed.

As we look ahead to 2026 and beyond, The Willow Foundation remains dedicated to expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and continuing to serve with purpose, integrity, and compassion. Together, we will keep working toward a future where no family is left behind.

Thank you for standing with us today, tomorrow, and always. With Willow We Will!

The Willow Foundation was pleased to accept an invitation to attend The Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services (MPSDFS), in collaboration with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Stakeholder Meeting to examine the key findings and recommendations of the Multidimensional Child Poverty Study (2023).

The objectives of the meeting were to:

* Present and discuss the findings of the Multidimensional Child Poverty Study, which highlights the extent and nature of child poverty in Trinidad and Tobago,
* Engage stakeholders in identifying opportunities to strengthen service delivery to address child poverty and
* Outline the process for developing a National Child Poverty Reduction Strategy, supported by UNICEF, to ensure a coordinated, evidence-based response.

This initiative is firmly grounded in Trinidad and Tobago’s commitments under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the National Child Policy of Trinidad and Tobago (2020). It also reflects our shared responsibility to safeguard the rights of every child to survival, development, protection, and participation.

Our presence and participation as a youth led organization was to continue our support to projects such as these that put the safety of youth and children first and to advocate for marginalized young people and children in Rural Trinidad.
