🌿Roots in the soil. 🤲Hands in the work.👊 Community in action.

Gayap 2026 brought together youth, elders, volunteers and partners in Fondes Amandes to learn, share and protect the hills that protect us.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who walked with us, worked the hillside with us and continue to show up and support the work of FACRP.

Rare Tree Found After Decades In Tobago Forest
April 28, 2026 Kandace Jackson
The Main Ridge Rainforest in Tobago is rich in biodiversity and has been protected for more than 250 years.

Hidden within it is a tree that eluded experts for decades.

Known only from historical records, it was recently rediscovered, drawing keen interest from forest officers who had previously only read about it.

Kandace Jackson reports.
