On this Good Friday, we pause to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice—one of love, grace, and redemption.

May this day remind us of the power of faith, the depth of sacrifice, and the hope that follows even the darkest moments.

Wishing you a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.

International Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8th—a day dedicated to honouring the strength, resilience, and determination of women around the world.

While the day has passed, the message remains just as powerful. It is a time to reflect on the progress made toward equality, while acknowledging the challenges that still exist.

As women, we continue to face unique obstacles—advocating for equal pay, safety, representation, and respect. Yet beyond the fight, we uplift, support, and empower one another every day.

In Trinidad and Tobago, we proudly recognize the women who are breaking barriers and shaping the future. Our nation stands as a powerful example, with Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo as President, Honourable Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, and Honourable Penelope Beckles as Opposition Leader—three women holding the highest offices simultaneously. This represents a defining moment for leadership and representation in our country.

NWAC remains committed to advancing this movement—championing women’s empowerment and advocating for meaningful change within our communities.

Let us continue to push forward, amplify each other’s voices, and demand the respect and equality we deserve.
