As Trinidad and Tobago celebrates 64 years of Independence, we give thanks for our nation and reflect on the part each of us can play in building its future.
For the Archbishop’s Appeal, service to our country means caring for people regardless of their faith. It means helping families in need, supporting education and youth development, responding to vulnerable communities and preserving places that form part of our national heritage.
These are not only investments in the Church. They are investments in Trinidad and Tobago and its people.
Today, as we celebrate our Independence, let us also recommit ourselves to building a society in which we care for one another.
Through your generosity, the Archbishop’s Appeal can continue to play its part.
Happy 64th Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago.

Who benefits when you give to the Archbishop’s Appeal?
Not only Catholics.
The Church’s responsibility to serve does not begin or end with membership in our parishes. When someone is hungry, displaced, vulnerable or in need of assistance, we are called to see the person before us as a child of God.
Your contributions allow the Archbishop’s Appeal to support outreach that reaches people and communities across Trinidad and Tobago.
Our faith calls us to care. Your generosity helps us answer that call.

A child preparing for the Sacraments. A young person looking for direction. A couple preparing for marriage. A family needing support.
These are some of the everyday ways in which the Church accompanies people.
The Archbishop’s Appeal helps fund the work of the Archdiocesan Commissions responsible for areas including faith formation, family life and youth development.
When you contribute to the Appeal, you are helping to provide the resources that allow this work to continue throughout the year.
Give to the Archbishop’s Appeal and actively support the mission of your Church.

During the July and August vacation, an empty classroom does not necessarily mean that nothing is happening.
It can be the opportunity to repair, maintain and prepare our Catholic schools before students return.

The Archbishop’s Appeal helps to fund essential work within our schools, supporting environments where children can learn, develop and grow.
These schools serve communities across our country and have helped educate generations of citizens.
Your gift helps us continue that responsibility.

A fire can destroy a home in minutes. Flooding can leave a family without the basic things they need. Sometimes, circumstances change suddenly and people simply need help to get back on their feet.

Through the Archbishop’s Appeal, the generosity of the faithful helps the Church respond to people facing these difficult circumstances with practical assistance and care.

This is where your contribution becomes more than a donation. It becomes food, clothing, shelter and support when someone needs it most.

When you support the Archbishop’s Appeal, you help us to be there.

During the July–August vacation, the work continues.
Schools are repaired. Classrooms are prepared. Spaces are made ready for children to return to learn and grow.
The Archbishop’s Appeal helps make this possible, ensuring that our schools remain places of opportunity and development.

There are families in our communities who struggle daily to meet basic needs.
Through the Archbishop’s Appeal, support is provided in the form of food, clothing, and assistance. It is about reaching those who need it most.
This care extends beyond boundaries. It is not limited to Catholics, but to all of God’s people.
This is the Church in action.

The work of the Church does not happen on its own.
Every meal shared, every programme delivered, every life supported begins with the generosity of people like you.

Every story shared… every memory recalled… has shown us just how deeply these churches are woven into our lives.
Now, the next chapter depends on us.
Let us come together to preserve these sacred places, so that future generations can create their own moments of faith, hope, and encounter. Visit our website to learn of the ways to give. https://www.appealtt.org/donate
