🏐 Big congratulations to Naomi Marshall! 🏐

Naomi, a proud member of our Junior Leadership Board and a Barataria Nettaz player, helped her team secure a win against the Police Netball Youth Club in the Courts All Sectors Netball League U-16 tournament!

Naomi is a student at St. Francois Girls’ College where she’s active on the netball team, the parang team, and the debate club. She’s passionate about mathematics, social studies, and law and justice, and dreams of becoming an Attorney-at-law one day.

On our Junior Leadership Board, Naomi shows up as a role model for her peers, sharing ideas and supporting the initiatives that empower young people right here in Laventille.

We’re so proud of you, Naomi! Keep shining on and off the court. 🌟

One year ago, we had the idea to create a safe and supportive environment for Laventille students to receive extra academic support after school. The 2025-2026 school year was filled with learning, encouragement and hope thanks to our educators, our guests and our donors!
As we prepare for another school year, we’re working to ensure more children have even more access to our program. Donate today to help us advance our mission!

Last year, because of your generosity, children in Laventille started the school year with the supplies they needed and access to an afterschool programme that provided academic support, mentorship, and a safe place to learn and grow.

This year, we’re doing it again.

Our 2026 Back-to-School Campaign will help provide school supplies and support our expanded Afterschool Tutoring Programme, allowing even more children to receive the resources and opportunities they deserve.

Every backpack packed, every notebook donated, and every dollar given helps a child begin the school year with confidence and hope.

Together, we can continue investing in the future of Laventille, one child at a time.
