At Chattergoon Group of Companies, we believe that strong communities are built by planting seeds today for a better tomorrow.

For more than 5 years, we have proudly partnered with Sure Foundation to distribute free seedlings to our customers, encouraging greener homes, healthier communities, and a brighter future. This year, we're delighted to continue that tradition and once again team up with Sure Foundation for our annual "Grow With Chattergoon" Seedling Drive.

Supporting better learning environments, one classroom at a time ✏️📚

In January 2026, SURE Foundation completed the **provision and installation of 11 whiteboards across 8 schools** within the Paria host community corridor—helping to strengthen classroom infrastructure and support more engaging teaching and learning experiences.

The initiative supported:
📍 Gasparillo Government Primary
📍 Pointe-a-Pierre Government Primary
📍 VOS Government Primary
📍 Marabella Government Primary
📍 St. Margaret’s Government Primary
📍 Harmony Hall Presbyterian
📍 Lady Hochoy School
📍 Audrey Jeffers School for the Deaf

Boards were distributed based on identified classroom needs, with additional support provided where demand was greatest.

By replacing and reducing reliance on outdated classroom infrastructure, this initiative contributes to more interactive instruction, improved learning environments, and lasting benefits for students and teachers across our communities.

Small improvements create meaningful impact. 💙

Planting knowledge. Growing futures. 🌱💚

On 12th May 2026, SURE Foundation together with TECU was proud to support a seedling distribution initiative at F***y Village Government Primary School, where 284 students received seedlings to take home and nurture.

More than just a distribution exercise, this initiative encouraged environmental awareness, responsibility, and hands-on learning—giving students the opportunity to connect with nature and understand the importance of caring for the environment from an early age.

Every seedling planted today represents a small step toward greener communities and a more sustainable tomorrow.

Creating spaces that inspire learning

As part of our commitment to supporting education within the Paria host community corridor, SURE Foundation together with Paria, successfully completed the **design, provision, and installation of 10 custom learning boards across 10 schools** over 10–11 February 2026.

From **Language Arts and Mathematics** to **Sign Language and National Awareness**, each board was thoughtfully developed to create more engaging, inclusive, and interactive learning environments for students.

This initiative reached:

Small acts of support can make a meaningful difference 💛

This week, SURE Foundation was pleased to provide a contribution of cooking flour to the Islamic Home for Children and El Shaddai Restoration Home as part of our continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.

While this was a small intervention, it reflects something much bigger, our ongoing effort to stand alongside homes and community organisations within our jurisdiction throughout the year and provide support where it is needed most.

Thank you to the teams who continue to care for and uplift others every day. Together, we build stronger and more compassionate communities.

For more than 5 years, Hi-Way Express and Sure Foundation have proudly worked together to give back to the community through our annual seedling distribution initiative. What started as a simple act of giving has grown into a tradition that many families look forward to each year.
