King of the Dirt 2026 – Race Report

The dust settled last weekend at the highly anticipated King of the Dirt 2026, where some of the Caribbean’s top radio control racers gathered for an intense international showdown between Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago.

With Barbados drivers and Trinidad drivers battling head-to-head, the event delivered high-level competition, exciting wheel-to-wheel action, and an atmosphere that showcased the continued growth of RC racing within the Caribbean.

From the opening qualifiers, the pace was relentless. Drivers pushed their machines to the limit around the challenging dirt circuit, navigating rough sections, technical corners, and high-speed jumps in pursuit of the prestigious King of the Dirt title. Spectators were treated to close racing throughout the weekend as both nations fought proudly for Caribbean bragging rights.

The finals brought the intensity to another level. Consistency, strategy, and control proved to be the deciding factors as the top competitors battled through pressure-filled mains. In the end, it was Barbados driver Danny Chase who rose above the competition with a commanding performance to secure the coveted King of the Dirt Champion title in 1/8 nitro buggy.

Danny’s drive throughout the event demonstrated exceptional speed, composure, and precision, earning him a well-deserved victory against a stacked field of talented Caribbean racers.
The event was more than just competition — it was a celebration of regional RC racing unity, sportsmanship, and the passion shared by racers across the islands. Teams, families, sponsors, and supporters all played a major role in making the weekend a success.

A special thanks goes out to all drivers, officials, sponsors, and fans who contributed to another unforgettable King of the Dirt. The level of competition continues to rise each year, and the future of Caribbean RC racing looks stronger than ever.
Congratulations once again to Danny Chase — the 2026 King of the Dirt Champion.
