β΅πΉπΉ Sailing Team T&T Takes on St. Thomas!
Following their strong performances at the National Dinghy Championships, Trinidad and Tobago's top Optimist sailors, Mariah Stoute and Dhruv Rambhajan, arrived in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, over the weekend to compete in the prestigious 33rd International Optimist Regatta.
Accompanied by Coach Stephen Phillip and their families, the young sailors have already begun their campaign with the renowned TOTE Maritime Clinic, training alongside nearly 100 sailors from across the Caribbean and the United States under the guidance of some of the world's leading Optimist coaches.
The week-long event is recognized throughout the Caribbean and internationally as one of the premier junior sailing experiences, combining elite coaching, competitive racing and opportunities for young sailors to build skills, confidence and lifelong friendships.
Competition heats up with the TOTE Team Race on Thursday, June 18, followed by the International Optimist Regatta fleet racing from June 19β21.
