On Saturday, June 6th, the Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago (DATT) hosted its Biennial General Meeting and Elections at the Chaguanas Borough Corporation.

The meeting brought together DATT members and chairpersons to reflect on the Association’s achievements, discuss future initiatives, and elect a new Executive Board to serve for the 2026–2028 term.

On Friday, 5th June 2026, the Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago proudly hosted its 5th Annual National Primary Schools' Diabetes Quiz at the Chaguanas Borough Corporation 📚🏆

This year, an incredible 871 students from 104 primary schools across Trinidad and Tobago participated, demonstrating their knowledge of diabetes, healthy lifestyles, and disease prevention.

🏆 Congratulations to our top three winners:
🥇 1st Place: Esha Neela Sookram – Tulsa Trace Hindu School
🥈 2nd Place: Ethan Paryag – Robert Village Hindu School
🥉 3rd Place: D'jah Cyneil Ania Legendre – Harmony Hall Presbyterian School
