Today, May 28th, we observe Menstrual Hygiene Day! ♥️🩸 Today, and everyday, we raise awareness about periods, break taboos, and promote access to menstrual products and education! It stands for dignity, health, and equality for all who menstruate! 🩸✨
We focus on 🩸;
• Breaking the stigma around menstruation.
• Ending period poverty and promoting access to menstrual products, proper sanitation and education.
• Empowering girls, women and all who menstruate to manage their cycles with pride and confidence.

Did you know that this day in particular holds symbolic significance? Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed annually on May 28. May is the 5th month, representing the average 5 day duration of menstruation, and the 28th day signifies the average length of the menstrual cycle!
