Speaker Reflection | Ms. Priya Ramdial
At the launch of the "Adopt-a-Child" Mentorship Programme, students and staff were deeply moved by the heartfelt presentation delivered by Ms. Priya Ramdial, Founder of the Pretty Tough Project and The Floral Echo.
Speaking with authenticity, compassion, and vulnerability, Ms. Ramdial reminded students of the importance of self-worth, resilience, and the power of believing in themselves, even during life's most challenging moments. Her message resonated throughout the auditorium, creating an atmosphere of reflection, hope, and encouragement.
Through personal insights and meaningful storytelling, she challenged students to recognize their value, embrace their unique journeys, and understand that growth often begins with a single act of courage, kindness, or belief.
One of the most memorable moments of her presentation came when she shared the powerful reminder:
"One spark is sufficient to ignite the fire in all of us."
Her words reinforced the idea that transformation does not always begin with grand gestures. Sometimes, it starts with one encouraging voice, one positive decision, or one person willing to see potential where others may not.
As the "Adopt-a-Child" Mentorship Programme continues to roll out thematic and targeted interventions aimed at supporting student development, Ms. Ramdial's message served as a timely reminder that confidence, self-belief, and human connection remain essential ingredients for personal growth and success.
Tabaquite Secondary School sincerely thanks Ms. Priya Ramdial for sharing her wisdom, authenticity, and inspiring message as part of our "Change Yuh Attitude" initiative.
