Today, we encourage our students to practice one of life’s most important skills — TEAMWORK! 💚💛

🎯 Classroom Team-Building Challenge:

The Marshmallow Tower Challenge

Divide students into small groups and provide:
📄 Paper
🧻 Tape
✂️ Scissors
🍬 One marshmallow (or small ball)

The challenge: Build the tallest free-standing tower possible in 10 minutes with the marshmallow placed at the top!

If you’re seeing this, there are still a few tickets available… but not for long! 😅

The St. Peter’s R.C. staff, with support from the PTA Executive, are serving up some delicious Bake & Shark right now, and judging by the smiles, empty plates, and people suddenly becoming “best friends” with the servers, it’s a hit! 😂🍽️

Don’t get caught hearing tomorrow about how good it was. Grab one of the remaining tickets while they last and come enjoy the vibes, the flavour, and the company.

💔🕊️ Protect Our Children 🕊️💔

As our nation continues to reflect on the heartbreaking incident involving little Angelo Tobias in Tobago, along with the recent tragedies where innocent children have lost their lives, we are reminded of just how precious, vulnerable, and irreplaceable our children truly are.

These incidents have shaken communities across Trinidad and Tobago and serve as a painful reminder that our children need more than supervision — they need love, protection, attention, guidance, and safe environments at all times.

As parents, guardians, teachers, and community members, let us:
🤍 Listen more
🤍 Be more present
🤍 Check in on our children emotionally
🤍 Teach safety and awareness
🤍 Create spaces where children feel protected and valued

Sometimes a moment of care, attention, or intervention can make all the difference.

To our parents and guardians — never underestimate the importance of your presence in a child’s life.
To our teachers — thank you for continuing to guide, nurture, and protect our students daily.
To our communities — let us look out for one another and especially for our children.

🌿✨ Sunday Reflections ✨🌿

As we reflect on the past week, we are truly grateful for the meaningful experiences shared with our students at St. Peter’s R.C. Point Cumana 💚💛

One of the major highlights was the successful Career Day Initiative held on Friday 15th May, hosted by the PTA with tremendous support from the school staff and championed by our dedicated PTA President, Kanisha Andrews 👏🏽

We extend sincere thanks to representatives from Valaris and Eldorado Offshore Company who engaged with our students, shared insight into their industries, discussed career opportunities, and encouraged our young minds to dream big 🌍⚓

The students had the opportunity to:
✨ Explore different career paths
✨ Speak about their own future ambitions
✨ Learn the importance of discipline, education, and perseverance
✨ Participate in fun activities and receive prizes

Most importantly, the initiative reminded our students that their goals and aspirations matter, and that with guidance, hard work, and support, anything is possible 💫

This event would not have been possible without the collaboration, commitment, and teamwork shown by both the PTA and members of staff who worked together to make the day impactful and memorable ❤️

As we prepare for a new week, may we continue to inspire, uplift, and invest in the future of our children.
