THE MISSION OF Healing with Horses

To improve the Body, Mind & Spirit of Children & Adults living with disabilities through the partnership with the Horse & Therapy. It is the absolute epitome of unconditional love. The movement that the Horse creates while the rider is seated on their back is also a very positive & healthy experience that has the effect of encouraging optimal bodily functions,

this helping the therapists to do their job. This is especially very good for improving the trunk muscles. The importance of the trunk strengh is essential for all functional mobility. By building up the core, it replicates a normal walking pattern in the patients pelvis.

The 5th of June ❣️always special 🦄as Sir Winston 🍀the smallest herdmember is entering a new phase 🫶🏽born 2000 in the UK 🤍he came over on a 24 foot container overseas with his travel companion and a 🇬🇧 prof groom 🩵13 years ago! Living since then by the by here in buccoo with the magnificent herd in his special apartment during the night 🐞when the sun rises he is ready to adventure a new day at buccoo bay ! You can meet him daily 10-11am

Integration is the key ! today we like to show a heartfelt appreciation to our present interns from Germany .gindele and .stx who are caring for the magical park with the 60 animals 🫶🏽sharing their skills 🤲🏽practicing gracefully life skills 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾and allowing all students , particularly the PWD to be seen and heard 🤲🏽while making all feel honored and purposeful at the foundation’s operations .

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to two of our 16 rescued canine ! They are now In Trinidad living the life ! Thanks to our interns Lena and Nancy who spoiled cherry and peach since March 23.rd ! Also thanks to and who are supporting our 60+ adopted animals at the sanctuary 🫶🏽with So much love and attention from the wonderful community and teammembers 🙌we practice daily a sustainable environment and share knowledge with our visitors
