CTC COMMUNITY is a Private Association of Christ's Faithful in the Archdiocese of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad with a Mission Outreach in the island of Curacao

The Companions of the Transfigured Christ (CTC) is a registered NGO, recognised as a private association of Christ's faithful in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port of Spain. The 18 Covenant Members and 2 Transfiguration Brothers that make up CTC live either in Trinidad or in Curacao at present. CTC was founded on the 6th of August in the jubilee year of 2000 by Kyle Dardaine, Shad Seaton, and

Mikkel Trestrail. The community is involved in ministry to primarily men and their families, psychospiritual work with individuals and groups, retreat work, preaching and teaching, and youth and young adult ministry. It also operates the John Paul II Centre on Fatherhood and the John Paul II Therapeutic Clinic.

Today, the silence of the tomb is shattered, and death itself has been undone. What once seemed like defeat is revealed as the greatest victory love has ever known.

The Cross was not the end. It was the doorway.
The grave was not final. It was empty.

Today, we don’t just remember;
we live in the power of the Resurrection.
Let your heart rise with Him.

Love, lifted on a Cross for me.

On this Good Friday, we stand at the place where suffering and glory meet.
Where the broken body of Christ reveals the fullness of divine love. This is not defeat. This is not the end. This is the ultimate act of love and sacrifice, poured out freely for each one of us.

In the shadow of the Cross, we remember the glimpse of His transfigured glory, the radiant Christ revealed on the mountain, now veiled in wounds, yet no less divine. The same light that shone in His Transfiguration now shines through His sacrifice, reminding us that even in suffering, His glory is present.

This is love: that He gave everything… so we could have everything in Him.

Let us not look away. Let us remain here, at the Cross where Love speaks the loudest in silence.

Palm Sunday is a moment of praise, an invitation into mystery.

We welcome Christ as King, waving palms and crying “HOSANNA,” yet in the same breath we enter the Passion. For us, this day reveals the heart of our faith: a King who chooses humility, who enters not on a throne, but on a donkey… not to be served, but to give His life.

The palms we hold are signs of victory that point us toward the Cross, where love is poured out completely. In the liturgy, we become both the crowd that rejoices and the crowd that turns away, and we are asked: where do I stand?

Palm Sunday calls us to follow more closely. To move beyond surface praise into sacrificial love. To walk with Christ through suffering, trusting that true glory is found not in power, but in surrender.

Today, we do not just remember, we enter in.
We begin the journey of Holy Week.
From Hosanna… to the Cross… to Resurrection. 🌿✝️
