“Seek first the Kingdom of God.” — Matthew 6:33

Pastor Marissa brought a powerful reminder from Matthew 6:24–31: worrying does not stop the thing you are worrying about. Jesus tells us, “Take no thought”—don’t allow the worries of life to consume your heart and take your focus away from God.

Sometimes we become so consumed with the worries of life that we forget whose life it really is. Our lives belong to God. Instead of being ruled by worry, we are called to seek God’s Kingdom, pursue Him, and trust Him.

❤️ Ask yourself: If Christ were to come this very instant, would I make it to Heaven? How am I seeking God today?

Seek Him with all your heart. Make time for Him. Study His Word diligently. Be obedient. Don’t worry. Seek Him even when you feel like you have nothing, just as Job continued to acknowledge God. Above all, acknowledge His presence in every season.

Why seek God? Because He gives wisdom, peace, and strength when life becomes overwhelming.

🙏 Take care of God’s business, and He will take care of your business.

Don’t let worry become bigger than your God. Seek first His Kingdom. Pursue Him. Trust Him.

The God Who Keeps His Promises 🙏🏽📖

Sister Daniella brought a powerful word of encouragement, reminding us that God is faithful to every promise He has made. What He has spoken, He is able to fulfill.

One impactful statement from her message was:

“View the Word of God like spiritual medicine.” 💊📖

Just as medicine is received with the expectation that it will work, we must receive God’s Word with faith, trust, and confidence in His promises.

📖 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…” — Ephesians 3:20

From Joshua 21:45 and Isaiah 55:11, we are reminded that not one of God’s good promises will fail, and His Word will accomplish what He sends it to do.

When life becomes difficult, God’s promises bring deep comfort:

🕊️ Isaiah 41:10 — Do not fear, for God is with you.
🌿 Psalm 23:4 — Even in the darkest valley, He is with us.
❤️ Psalm 107:20 — He sent His Word and brought healing.
🔥 Jeremiah 13:17 — A reminder to listen and respond to God’s Word.
✝️ Hebrews 13:8 — Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Be like the woman with the issue of blood—determined, believing, and convinced that her healing was sure. Be like blind Bartimaeus, who refused to remain silent and cried out to Jesus in faith.

Have faith. Confess God’s Word. Listen to His Word. Stand on His promises.

What God has promised, He is faithful to fulfill. 🙏🏽
