Rescue Mission observes World AIDS Day on December 1st, in its continuing thrust in educating, supporting, counselling, and praying for persons living with HIV.

We promote: delaying s*xual activity until marriage, deciding on second virginity, and faithfulness in marriage.
We encourage testing for HIV, once s*xually active.
Note: Treatment is available free of charge in T&T.
We believe that the bible has the solutions for living positively with HIV and empowering individuals to make wise and godly choices of abstinence before marriage, and faithfulness in the marriage relationship, as God designed.

For persons living with HIV, we encourage a lifestyle that pleases God because He is our source of strength and hope. For those who struggle to refrain from s*x before marriage, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you as you fill your heart and mind with scriptures, resources to strengthen your resolve, and surround yourself with role models that serve as a defense and encouragement. In addition, seek counsel from a proven trusted person of Christlike character.

For married persons, guard, protect and cherish your sacred covenant and resist the temptations of having affairs. For marital conflicts, seek wise and godly counsel from trusted counselors.

1 Corinthians 6:19 reminds us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit that we are to keep Holy.
Galatians 5:16 admonishes that we are to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

May we choose to live a life that pleases God no matter what our past may be. Pray and ask Him!

On October 10, 1986, the Ministry of Rescue Mission was launched by Evangel Temple under the leadership of Rev Hasratt and the late, Sheila Ali. This NGO was birthed out of a need to rehabilitate recovering substance abusers and counsel to their families. This grew to cater to marriage and family counseling, youth conflicts, and HIV and AIDS.

The stories are many and diverse from those who were helped through this ministry over the 39 years.

Today, the Board of Directors and Advisors of Rescue Mission join in giving God thanks for His grace, mercy, and provision over the years and to all our volunteers, supporters, donors, partners in prayer, fellow NGOs, FBOs, and countless others. THANK YOU!

Under the Chairmanship of Rev. Nyron Dinoo and Co Chair and founder, Rev. Hasratt Ali, the ministry continues to make inroads and provides support in Building Strong Families.

God bless you all.
