Young Ambassadors for Global Goals

Young Ambassadors for Global Goals The Young Ambassadors for Global Goals is a youth organisation which seeks young agents of change! So, are you with us?

In 2015, the United Nations (UN) adopted a new development framework known as the 2030 agenda. This agenda is guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which consists of seventeen (17) global goals that work in tandem with each other to create a sustainable future. Although Caribbean societies have been exposed to the SDGs through UN agencies, the time now calls for greater action on the

part of Caribbean youth to achieve said global goals by 2030 and beyond. The Young Ambassadors for Global Goals (YAGG) develops training curricula in order to foster young social agents of change. For the past three years, the YAGG's position has been about educating children and young people of Trinidad and Tobago, ages seven to seventeen years, by exposing them to the seventeen (17) SDGs through the teaching of the SDGs, public speaking, debating, volunteering, community projects and others. We believe targeting bright and energetic children and young people will steer this country in the right, sustainable direction. Additionally, we welcome collaborations with other entities and volunteers as this is not a one-man job!
