MAFEE was established with common efforts of motivated young people and professionals from different fields who are ready to put their efforts together to make positive changes in their own and lives of other individuals, first of all of young people in their own local community but also to contribute to solutions for global challenges through active engagement and voluntarily work.

Organization was established with the aim of providing quality support and space for young people to develop wide range of competences that contribute to their personal and professional development. All the MAFEE’s activities and projects are developed based on needs of youth or initiated and implemented directly by enthusiastic young people with the support of trained volunteers or professional youth workers. By ensuring safe space for youth to take the initiative and following their needs, aspirations and motivations, organization is acting in different fields: from human rights, inter cultural and inter religious dialogue to social inclusion, youth informing and environment protection.

The organization’s field of special interest refers to the domain of employment and entrepreneurship. Youth unemployment, as a global problem, is significantly present in Turkey too. Our aim in this field is, next to supporting youth in developing much needed skills, especially “soft” ones not provided by formal education, to make a concrete steps in bringing together employers and businesses that need qualified employees with young people seeking a job. Another concrete step is supporting young people in becoming entrepreneurs themselves by providing them with all needed knowledge and helping them in search for financial resources to support their entrepreneurial ventures. In these terms, huge emphasis is put on startups and innovation. In this way we are supporting creation of economic opportunities for unemployed young people so that they can create a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.
