Today, we visited our precious friends at our sanctuary once again. We distributed food, refreshed their water, and took care of their cleaning with all our love. ❤️🐾

The weather is getting colder, and heavy rain is expected in the coming days. Unfortunately, this means our live streams will have to be shorter. Today, we visited our precious friends at our sanctuary once again, sharing food, care, and love. ❤️🐾

Although the weather has been a little better over the past few days, much colder days are expected ahead. Our outdoor friends will need even more food, care, and support to get through the cold.

Cesur, whom we have cared for since he was a tiny puppy, has developed a swelling on his neck. We are trying our best to care for him and find out how we can help. Sadly, Diş’s test results have also come back, and they were not good. We are deeply concerned about him and will do everything we can for our precious boy.

There are so many lives depending on us, and we cannot turn our backs on them. We need your support more than ever to continue providing food, care, and medical attention to those who need us.

I AM DIŞ. I AM VERY SICK… PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE.

Hello, my name is Diş.

I am about 8–9 years old, and I have been living here at our living area for 7 years. My mom loves me very much, and I love her too. They have taken such good care of me all these years.

I love people. I am a very friendly girl, and I am also cross-eyed. Whenever someone came to visit and show me some love, I would run to them and jump all over them just to be petted. And when I smiled, I would show all my teeth. That’s how my mom gave me the name “Diş,” which means “tooth” in Turkish.

But now, I am sick.

A few days ago, before starting more comprehensive tests, the vets asked for an X-ray. The X-ray revealed that I have multiple bullet fragments in my body. It turns out that I had already suffered terrible pain before I ever came to my mom. I was probably shot…

We only discovered this 7 years later, because of the X-ray.

Now, there is a mass in my abdomen, and there is also a mass on my tongue. First, we need to find out whether the disease has spread to any other parts of my body.

For this, I need to travel to another city for an examination, X-rays, a complete blood count, biochemistry, and the advanced imaging tests that may be necessary. The total estimated cost of all these initial tests is around $600.

If the disease has not spread to my internal organs, I may still have a chance to have surgery. If that happens, we will need your support again for the second stage of my treatment.

My mom wants to do everything she possibly can for me. I am not ready to give up yet.

Please support us with the cost of my first-stage tests. Maybe, together, we can give me another chance.

Today, we had to come a little earlier because after leaving our rescue home, we need to take Diş for his medical tests. 🤍

We’ll also do a short live here. The weather has become very cold, and they need more food to stay strong and survive these cold days.

Today, we were at our sanctuary again… 🐾🤍

We filled their food bowls, refreshed their water, cleaned their space, and tried to leave a little more love behind for each of them.

For some, it may look like an ordinary day. But for us, every day is another fight to keep these lives safe. 🥺

They need food, medicine, care, clean spaces, and most importantly, someone who will never give up on them. 🤍

Sometimes we get tired. Sometimes we feel like we can’t keep up. But then we look into their eyes… and we simply can’t give up.

Lately, fewer and fewer restaurants have been able to provide us with leftover food, and unfortunately, what we can find is not enough for all the friends in our living area. Our food supplies are also running very low.

Every day, we continue filling their food bowls, providing fresh, clean water, and taking care of all the care they need. Because feeding their bodies is just as important to us as making sure they feel safe, valued, and loved.

We don’t just feed them… We give them plenty of love and attention, stroke their heads, and try to make them feel that we are always there for them. Because we believe that, just as we need to fill their bellies, we also need to nourish their souls.

Right now, we especially need your support with food. Every bowl we are able to fill means a little more security for them in the days ahead.

We received a report about a mother and her five puppies living in an area of our city. 🐾

They are trying to survive in an area where new residential buildings have been built. Unfortunately, people want them removed before residents move in. We were told that they may either be taken somewhere unknown and abandoned, or sent to a shelter.

We didn’t want to wait until something happened to them. We wanted to get them to safety before they could be taken away or abandoned somewhere they don’t know. 🤍

Today, we went there for the first time and tried to rescue them, but we couldn’t catch any of them because they are extremely frightened of people. 😔

The level of fear they have makes us believe that they may have experienced mistreatment in the past. Instead of forcing them, we realized that we first need to earn their trust.

So we won’t give up.

We will keep going back.
We will bring them food.
We will feed them regularly.
And slowly, we will help them learn that they can trust us.

Maybe one day, when they see us, they won’t be afraid. Maybe they will understand that we are there to bring food and help them. And when that day comes, we hope we can safely catch them and bring this beautiful family to safety. 🤍

But we need to keep going back, and the area is quite far from us, which means fuel costs every time we make the trip. We also need puppy food and canned food to keep feeding the five little ones.

Today, we were able to take some chicken, but we need your help to continue visiting and feeding them in the coming days.

A bag of puppy food, a few cans of food, help with fuel, or even simply sharing this post can make a huge difference. 🤍

We weren’t successful today… but we cannot leave them there.

It is not their fault that they are afraid of people.
Perhaps life taught them to be afraid.

The disasters, suffering, and loss happening in different parts of the world have been deeply heartbreaking to witness. It’s incredibly difficult to see so much pain affecting both people and animals.

Here, we continue doing everything we can for the animals in our living area. Today, we arrived once again with a car full of food and supplies. We work day and night to keep them fed, care for those who are sick, and make sure none of them are left without help.

Our vitamins for the sick animals are now almost completely gone. We also need fuel for our vehicle so we can continue transporting food and supplies.

In these difficult times, we need your support to keep being there for them. Every contribution, big or small, can help feed, treat, and save a life.
