Diaz is a Cane Corso Mastiff โ a breed known for its intelligence, loyalty, and deep devotion to their people. He should have grown up chasing balls, curling up on the couch, and going on long walks beside someone who loved him. Instead, Diaz was sentenced to a life of misery from the moment he was born.
Diaz was never a pet. He was property โ chained, abused, and used as a tool for โguarding.โ To make him look more โintimidating,โ they cut off his ears and chopped off his tail. They beat him to instill fear. He was never hugged. Never kissed. Never called a โgood boy.โ
He lived in a barren dirt yard, completely alone. No bed. No toys. No shelter. Through the freezing winters and sweltering summers, Diaz slept, ate, and tried to survive in the same filth. He fought off ticks and infections with no help. He waited, unseen and unloved, for years.
And when Diazโs health finally began to fail, his owners didnโt get him help. They dragged him by the collar, dumped him outside the gates like garbage, and never looked back. That is where we found him.
Diaz is emaciated, dehydrated, and struggling to stay alive. He can hardly open his eyes through the discharge and swelling. His body is weak, but his will to live is still there.
Diaz deserves more than this. He deserves a chance at comfort, healing, and love. Please, if you can, donate toward his emergency care, medications, and recovery. Every dollar goes directly toward giving Diaz the second chance he was always denied.
