The previous conferences have been held in various parts of the world, namely three times in Istanbul, one time in Lisbon, Beijing and Athens successfully. We have already started working hard to make GCGW-2018 a more remarkable event with a bigger success in terms of its technical and social content. We are extremely excited that we will have opportunity to show you the distinct Turkish hospitality and the stunning beauty of the city Izmir. Participations from both academia and industry are very welcomed; and we hope that the conference will lead to effective and fruitful discussions and collaborations between the participants from different disciplines, institutes and sectors from all over the world.
