“EUDEC isn’t just a place where democracy is discussed—it’s where it’s lived and practiced.” 🌿

A huge thank you to Prof. Sevil Akaygün from Boğaziçi University for joining us at EUDEC 2026 with her talk “Democracy Beyond Curriculum.” ✨

Her reflections on science education, participation, and the spirit of our community mean the world to us. Thank you for being an indispensable part of this journey! 💖

Her harika buluşmanın arkasında olağanüstü bir mutfak ekibi vardır! 👨‍🍳🥗✨

Her birinize ayrı ayrı minnettarız!

Connecting the Threads of EUDEC 2026 🧶✨

A ball of yarn, heartfelt words, and a circle of gratitude.

During our closing ceremony, we gathered together to build our Web of Gratitude. As the yarn passed from hand to hand, so did words of appreciation, love, and the memories we built throughout the week.

This closing ritual was a beautiful reminder of how deeply we are all connected. Thank you to everyone who wove this thread, shared a smile, and created these moments together! ❤️

Highlights from Day 7 at EUDEC 2026 🌊✨

Day 7 was all about connection, music, and celebration at Pamucak Beach!

After a rich series of seminars, we gathered on the sand for a beach concert by BBOM Cooperative partners, expressive dancing into the night, and a special moment where the EUDEC torch was handed over to Poland for EUDEC 2027!

We wrapped up the night dancing together on the sand, from halay lines under the stars to late-night beats. The energy of this community is truly unmatched! 💃🕺
