TRT World Citizen TRT World Citizen is the philanthropic arm of TRT. Inspire positive change. Join us!

TRT ‘World Citizen’ initiative intends to inspire humanity’s collective conscience and celebrate our magnificent diversity. We are born from the belief that “Individuals become Inspiration” and that “News Inspires Change.” Beyond our media coverage, we believe that we have a fundamental moral responsibility to do something with the people, as opposed to just about the people. As such, we seek to r

edefine the capacities and scope of media outlets by going beyond reporting and being part of the change. World Citizen is the first initiative of its kind to be launched by a global media network whose employees are on the ground, working on grassroots humanitarian-based initiatives. We call for inspiration, innovation and are committed to connecting communities by constructing inclusive, sustainable instruments - through music, art, literature and sport, that transcend borders.

What we see online is not always random.

Algorithms learn from what we watch, search and click — shaping our feeds over time.

Digital literacy helps us notice these patterns, question what we see and use platforms more consciously.

Pause. Question. Choose what shapes your feed.
