We are born from the belief that “Individuals become Inspiration” and that “News Inspires Change.” Beyond our media coverage, we believe that we have a fundamental moral responsibility to do something with the people, as opposed to just about the people. As such, we seek to redefine the capacities and scope of media outlets by going beyond reporting and being part of the change. World Citizen is the first initiative of its kind to be launched by a global media network whose employees are on the ground, working on grassroots humanitarian-based initiatives. AI’s impact reaches far beyond our screens. 🌍

Behind the tools we use are physical resources: minerals for chips, electricity to power servers and water to cool them. Replacing hardware also adds to electronic waste, revealing an environmental cost that often goes unseen.

Building a more sustainable digital future means considering how these technologies are made, powered and used. Cleaner energy, more efficient systems and responsible resource use must be part of that progress.

Behind every destroyed building are lives, memories and futures that matter.

The question is no longer whether the world has seen enough. It is what the world will do to end this suffering.
