🌍 Youth Work 4 Mental Health Youth Exchange 🧠💬
Across Europe, youth workers are facing increasing challenges in supporting young people’s mental well-being — yet many still lack the tools and training to respond effectively.
📊 With nearly 9 million adolescents living with mental disorders, mental health often remains under-prioritized due to stigma and limited awareness.
✨ Youth Work 4 Mental Health aims to break this silence by empowering youth workers with the knowledge, strategies, and resources needed to address mental well-being in their daily practice. By fostering openness and building professional capacity, we strive to create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments where young people feel heard, understood, and able to thrive.
🎯 Project Objectives:
• Raise awareness of mental health among young people and youth workers
• Share best practices across partner countries
• Strengthen youth workers’ skills to lead mental health conversations
• Encourage youth organizations to create safe spaces for dialogue
• Support innovative youth-led mental health initiatives
• Host Mental Health Elaborated discussions (online & offline) in each country

📩Buse’nin proje deneyimi✈️🇩🇰
Bu benim ilk eğitim kursumdu ve bunun aynı anda hem eğlenceli hem de üretken olabileceğini hiç düşünmemiştim. 10 farklı ülkeden harika insanlarla tanıştım, kültürlerini öğrendik ve farklılıklarımızı karşılaştırma şansımız oldu, bu da bir olarak birlikte çalışmanın zor olmadığını görmemize yardımcı oldu. Herkes öğrenmek ve kendini geliştirmek için oradaydı. Bu harika proje için Youth Spectrum’a ve bize bu fırsatı verdiği için Youth Season’a teşekkürler.❤️✍🏻

🇩🇰Erasmus + Training Course ‘Unlock the EUntrepreneur in you’ took place in Sigerslev, Denmark from 18th of March to 25th of March 2025. The training course included 30 participants - youth workers, volunteers, youth mentors, youth mediators, youth leaders and people active in the youth field. They represented 10 countries - Denmark, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Turkiye.
👩🏻💻The main aim of this project was to deliver and equip youth workers and youth leaders with wide spectrum of entrepreneurial competencies which they transfered and implemented towards the main target group, young people that are facing economical and geographical obstacles. During the program of the course the participants gained knowledge about the core basics of entrepreneurship, practical skills in establishing, implementing and organizing own enterprise, developing business plan, develop marketing skills, increasing their presentation skills etc. 👨🏻💻
📈The project has immense effect on the youth work practice thanks to the fact that during the professional development activity the participants created new tools and methods of non-formal education for work with young people on the topic of the project.📈eu

Youth Season is a no-profit and non-governmental organization born in Istanbul in 2014. Youth Season has an office in Istanbul and cooperates with local governmental organisations and non-governmental organisations in Europe. The mission of the organisation is to prepare young people to successfully meet the challenges of the nowadays society by empowering them through international learning experiences.
Youth Season promotes mobility of young people, intercultural dialogue, non-formal education including disadvantaged targets as people with different abilities, young people who have fewer opportunities such as economic difficulties, cultural differences and social obstacles
Youth Season is a training designer and provider at local and European level. Youth Season has a consultant role for public and private bodies in order to promote and develop European projects in youth sectors.
ACTIVITIES:
The main activities of Youth Season consist in managing international training and mobility projects like internships, volunteering, youth exchanges and training courses.
Youth Season has an extensive experience in mobility projects and provided training and youth exchanges for than 300 young people in 20 different countries since 2014. We hosted more than 200 participants for our youth Exchanges and training courses in Turkey.
ICT4Society
Youth Season is a founder and leading organisation of ICT4Society project. The ICT4Society is a movement promotes social inclusion of people with disabilities using open source map. This movement promotes accessibility to the social inclusion of people with disabilities and to improve the awareness of accessibility of public facilities for persons with disabilities at national and international level. We collect accessibility data and create an accessible map for the community. ICT4Society has partner organisations from Italy (Youth OpenStreetMap Community), Germany (Intercultural Club- Goethe Uni) and UK( Youth Mappers London). Thanks to our partner, we organised mapathons( mapping meeting) in Izmir, Istanbul, Rimini, London, Istanbul and Offenbach am Main so far to enrich wheelchair accessibility data on open source map platform. We developed Izmir Accessibility Map with the cooperation of Izmir OpenSteetMap Community. ( https://izmirosmcommunity.github.ioizmiraccessiblitymap.html )
We are on way to develop crowdsourced accessibility map where the users can contribute wheelchair accessibility and check accessibilities of the any location.
