Africa Without Borders (AWB) proudly hosted the official launch ceremony of the Africa Without Borders Academic Multidisciplinary Journal (AWB Journal) at Istanbul Ticaret University.

The event brought together Moussa Hussein Moussa, President of Africa Without Borders, Dr. Abdel Fatah Nadjloudine, Editor-in-Chief of AWB Journal, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Istanbul Ticaret University, academicians and researchers, presidents and representatives of African associations and platforms, representatives of research centers, members of the AWB Executive Bureau, and distinguished guests.

The programme featured an opening speech by President Moussa Hussein Moussa, followed by remarks from distinguished guests and the official presentation of the AWB Journal by its Editor-in-Chief.

This milestone marks an important step toward promoting African academic excellence, multidisciplinary research, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across borders.

A key highlight of the event was the official presentation of the Africa Without Borders Academic Multidisciplinary Journal, introduced by its Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Abdel Fatah Nadjloudine. HON. SAID ABDALLAH MCHANGAMA

🎙️ Meet Hon. Said Abdallah Mchangama, an economist, civil society leader, former Minister of Finance and former President of the National Assembly of the Union of the Comoros.

He has also chaired the Conference of Speakers of Francophone African Parliaments and currently serves as a member of the Council of Sages of the Union of the Comoros. His public service has been marked by significant contributions to governance, mediation, dialogue and regional cooperation.

Hon. Mchangama has founded several organizations working in the fields of media, consumer rights and public health. As Co-founder of Tan-Com LLC, he promotes economic, cultural and medical cooperation between the Comoros and Tanzania.

MR. AARON ADROIT MUKANDABVUTE

🎙️ Meet Mr. Aaron Adroit Mukandabvute, Junior Lecturer in the Department of Languages, Literature and Culture at the University of Zimbabwe, where he teaches Kiswahili.

His academic work focuses on Kiswahili linguistics, Bantu languages, stylistics, psycholinguistics, African cultural studies and multilingualism. He is particularly interested in the contribution of Kiswahili to regional integration, inclusive societies and Africa’s sociocultural transformation.

He has authored and co-authored several academic publications in international journals and edited volumes and has presented his research at regional and international conferences. He has also worked as a Kiswahili interpreter and translator for international organizations, including UNHCR and UN Women.
