Underwater noise must be recognized as a major concern in the ocean health!
Science Advisory Committee for the OCEANOISE Conference Series, to wich TUDAV recently participated, has prepared the OCEANOISE2026 Declaration: A Call for Immediate Action on Ocean Noise, which emerged from the discussions and conclusions during last week’s conference.
This Declaration reflects the collective voice of the OCEANOISE community and our shared conviction that the time has come to place the acoustic dimension of the ocean at the heart of environmental decision-making and future ocean development.
By speaking with one voice, we can help raise awareness of the urgent need to address the growing impact of human-generated noise on marine ecosystems.

Sualtı gürültüsü, okyanus sağlığı açısından önemli bir sorun olarak kabul edilmelidir!
TUDAV’ın da yakın zamanda katıldığı OCEANOISE Konferans Serisi Bilimsel Danışma Komitesi, geçen hafta gerçekleştirilen konferansta tartışmalar ve ulaşılan sonuçlar doğrultusunda hazırlanan OCEANOISE2026 Bildirgesi’ni yayımladı: Okyanus Gürültüsüne Karşı Acil Eylem Çağrısı.
Bu Bildirge, OCEANOISE topluluğunun ortak sesini ve okyanusun akustik boyutunun çevresel karar alma süreçlerinin ve gelecekteki okyanus gelişiminin merkezine yerleştirilmesi gerektiğine dair ortak inancımızı yansıtmaktadır. Tek bir ses olarak konuşarak, insan kaynaklı gürültünün deniz ekosistemleri üzerindeki giderek artan etkisinin ele alınmasına yönelik acil gereksinim konusunda farkındalığın artırılmasına katkıda bulunabiliriz.
