Rotary District 2420 Assembly –
A Day of Learning, Inspiration & Networking

The Rotary District Assembly is the premier annual leadership training event for all Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interacts in our district. It offers a unique opportunity to gain motivation, inspiration, and fresh ideas to enhance your Rotary experience.

A dynamic in-person event filled with engaging insightful discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. This assembly is important for all members, ensuring they are well-prepared for the year ahead.

At the assembly, participants will:
✔ Meet district leaders (District Governor-Elect, Assistant Governors, and District Committees) who support club projects.
✔ Learn best practices to grow clubs, engage youth, obtain grants, and serve communities effectively.
✔ Exchange ideas with fellow Rotarians and explore exciting aspects of Rotary.

Rotary’s first meeting

Attorney Paul P. Harris, 36, unmarried, wanted to create club for local professionals, convenes the first Rotary meeting on 23 February, 1905 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Harris envisions a professional club that brings together local men from a variety of vocations.
The other three men were Gustavus Loehr, a mining engineer, Silvester Schiele, a coal merchant and Hiram E. Shorey, a tailor.
The meeting took place in Loehr’s office for what would become known as the first Rotary club meeting.

had a productive meeting with Rotary Bengaluru Ullal, from District 3191, led by Mr. Sreekanth AS.
We sincerely thank .ullal for their warm hospitality and the inspiring exchange of ideas. .ullal 🇮🇳

This impressive club, with 130 dedicated members, embodies the spirit of Rotary through its commitment to service and fellowship.

As a symbol of our Rotary friendship, a flag exchange took place, strengthening the bond between our clubs. During her visit, exciting discussions emerged about potential future collaboration projects, reflecting our shared dedication to making a difference.
