Launch of the Sustainable Development Goals, road safety is receiving increased international attention, to save lives on the roads exists: the international community, national governments and civil society now need to act on it. About 1.25 million people die each year on the world's roads and between 20 and 50 million sustain non-fatal injuries. Road traffic injuries remain an important public h

ealth problem despite progress in a number of countries. To reduce the number of road traffic injuries, the pace of legislative change and enforcement need to be hastened and more attention paid to vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.

Otoyollarda motosiklet hız sınırlarının Avrupa’da olduğu gibi ülkemizde de otomobillerle eşitlenmesi gerekmektedir. Motosikletlerin otobüs ve kamyonlarla aynı hız sınırında olması, akan trafikten daha yavaş gitmeye zorlanması, motosikletliler için güvenli değildir.
