As Rohingya Muslim we have the right to raise the truth which goes against Islam and our culture.. Playing Carrom is not a part of our culture then why some missionary NGOs are promoting this kind of activities which has no benefits for the Rohingya people. Today they are playing free of cost with the help of NGOs but tomorrow they might play with money then who will be the responsible for the issues?

1. Why they only focus the things which we don't deserve it or want it?

2. How does teaching and promoting Carrom improve the daily lives and well-being of vulnerable Rohingya elderly people?

3. Why we always keep silent when these kinda materials being provided by the NGOs?

Rohingya

The Rohingya Muslims are among the most persecuted people in the world, subjected to severe oppression by their own government, Arakan Army and forced from their homes and lands due to religious and ethnic persecution. This vulnerable group of Rohingya Muslims includes widows, orphans, women, and children who lost their families and loved ones during the bloody events of August 2016 and 2024 which left thousands of Rohingya dead, wounded, or missing. For the past years, they have sought refuge in Bangladesh in several waves. In 2016 2024 and before, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya victims of widespread torture entered Bangladesh.

According to the Bangladeshi government, approximately 1.2million Rohingya Muslims live in various areas of Ukhia and Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. Although they fled their homes and abandoned their possessions to protect their faith and honor, they now face similar persecution in their refugee camps, albeit in different forms and with different methods, due to the exploitation of their dire circumstances. Recently, missionary efforts have intensified in the Rohingya camps, exploiting their vulnerability and vulnerability. Missionaries are using their weakness, helplessness, simplicity, and poverty to advance their missionary agendas. Bangladeshi scholars and Rohingya Scholars, Rohingya youths are calling to prevent it and continue calling to government of Bangladesh by the whole community of Rohingya to prevent missionary in Camp, about these missionary activities targeting the faith and beliefs of the Rohingya in the refugee camps, but the government has taken no decisive action against these reprehensible activities. This was also noted by the Bangladeshi Minister of Liberation War Affairs, A. Ko. Mo Mazmal Haq, who said on March 13, 2019, that some NGOs working in the Rohingya camp are working for bad purposes.

The number of Rohingya Muslims are 100% percent some of them converted to Christianity since September 2017 exceeds two thousand, as missionary groups exploit the Rohingya's vulnerability and poverty, youths , elder showing them opportunities and financial support converting those who are psychologically damaged under the guise of helping them escape poverty and illiteracy.

In this regard, it appears that the oldest refugee camp has a church built in Camp 7 Block B of the Rohingya camps. It is known that an electronic device containing Christian discussions and information, intended to encourage conversion, Rohingya translated bible and some are devices of Quranic verses that they misinterpreted to influence the vulnerable people is distributed in every block of the Rohingya camps. Since most Rohingya are deprived of education, they believe the information on this device to be true and thus convert to Christianity. Furthermore, many shopkeepers sell Rohingya necessities, but the shop owners, who are run by missionary organizations, are essentially buying their faith and beliefs through these sales. At the forefront of these missionaries are Nurul Islam Faqir, Peter Saiful and his brothers pastor and proselytizer who uses these sales to invite Rohingya to Christianity. He openly calls them to embrace Christianity and, along with his colleagues, holds missionary meetings under the name "Brothers" or "Brotherhood" to discuss missionary activities in the camps. He is accompanied and assisted by many other missionaries. Peter Saiful who is leading the transit Camp in the same way he is doing.

Furthermore, in some areas in Ukhiya's some Converted Christian missionary are manipulating and supporting to Rohingya Muslims youths, teachers, side mazhi and others vulnerable people.

It also said that the converted Christian built Church in several Camps such Camp 13 Block C-1 and Camp 27 . The leading people are in Camp 13 David Shorif who married a Muslim girl, Joel Hassan who married a Muslim girl after his arrival from India in 2021 . Michael Hamid who always encourage the converted people to insult against Islam and prophet Muhammad SAW. They always invite Muslim with brotherhood and discuss about missionary and support their friends with business also giving the bills of coffee etc.. They have a Sunday school in Camp 13 Block C-1. These three people always manipulate the uneducated Muslims parents to send their children at Sunday school for free Education to be better in English." David Shorif also said that learning bible mean improving in English" he used this of dialogue to influence Muslims community.

The reporter said that It's eyewitness that many of the missionary people married Muslims girls even the girls are under 17 years lately their families also converted into Christianity. Such individuals are who got married Muslims girls are Joel Hassan father's name Soyed Korim, he was a Missionary leaders in India Camp after that the authorities searched him then he fled to Bangladesh then married a Muslim girl in Ukhiya Camp 13 by showing her financial aid. Such illegally married by missionary individuals under 18 years old girl in Camp are Esuf Jolil, majolil, Ismail, Abdu Jolil and Rofique and the reporter also mentioned their names who got married Muslims girls in Ukhiya Camp 13. He also said that marrying Muslims girls is also a kind of their missionary mission. He said that there is no way to prevent them except Camp Responsible authorities. The Rohingya community call the government of Bangladesh to prevent it.

With the widespread adoption of the internet, social media, and television channels, websites and pages dedicated to the Rohingya language and dialect have proliferated, containing information and Christian missionary doctrines. The enlarged size and images on these sites might lead readers to believe that a significant number of Rohingya have converted to Christianity. However, these websites were created long before any Rohingya Christians or adherents of any other religion existed. There are now over 100 websites and pages on the internet discussing Christianity in the Rohingya language. Missionaries have established schools for Rohingya children in the camps, providing students with free education and valuable financial and educational resources. Every Sunday, the students celebrate Christmas Day.

A video of Rohingya Muslims participating in a protest against Christian missionary activities went viral on social media. Another video went viral on social christian pastors forced to convert into Christianity. In addition to this video, the marriage of a Rohingya girl, conducted according to Christian traditions, sparked considerable discussion and criticism online. Several Bangladeshi newspapers, most notably the daily Nya Diganto, reported on January 25, 2018, that some Rohingya Muslims were converting to Christianity. Studies estimate that over 2,000 Rohingya Muslims have converted to Christianity since September 2017 and media also published a report based on conversion activities in Camp On 4/5/2019 Missionary groups exploit the Rohingya's vulnerability and poverty, converting those who are psychologically damaged under the guise of helping them overcome poverty and illiteracy. These conversions are carried out both openly and covertly.

According to some reports, some organization in Bangladesh called the Christian Church of Bangladesh (ICB) is working to convert Rohingya Muslims to Christianity, Bengal Creative Media ( BCM) They have missionary office in Ukhiya. Local media have reported that approximately 15 members of this organization are working day and night in the Ukhia and Teknaf refugee camps, paying Rohingya to abandon Islam and embrace Christianity. They promise permanent residency in various countries around the world. These missionaries reportedly stay in upscale hotels in Cox's Bazar to facilitate conversions. This information was also included in a report by the Bangladeshi intelligence agency. The targeting of Rohingya Muslims by missionary organizations in refugee camps in Bangladesh and among Rohingya migrants scattered across various countries is facilitated through a UN program, particularly in the United States, run by the UNHCR. There, Rohingya themselves are recruited and coerced into becoming missionaries, then used to spread proselytizing agendas within the persecuted Muslim Rohingya community.

According to Bangladeshi newspapers, the United States and the Netherlands are funding this Christian church in Bangladesh. They pay Rohingya Muslims who convert to Christianity 5,000 taka (Bangladesh currency) per month, provide them with private facilities, and train them five days a month at a field church in Cox's Bazar. A man named perter Saiful (42 years old), who lives in Kutupalong transit Camp is mentioned as overseeing these converts. Although they are given Christian names, they use Muslim names as a ruse. The first convert, according to reports, was Nurul Islam Faqir (55 years old), son of the late Jalal Ahmad, who lived in Hatipara, Maungdaw. He came to Bangladesh in 2007 with 17 members of his family and worked tirelessly to convert them and their relatives, ultimately succeeding in converting approximately 35 people.

Nurul Islam Faqir's son, Ehsanullah (35 years old), traveled to Norway a few years ago on a Bangladeshi passport and sends money to these families converting to Christianity. He established a school at his own expense in Block B, which includes about 80 students. Salim (17 years old), Nurul Islam Faqir's younger son, works as a teacher. Under Nurul Islam's guidance, they all participate in Christian rituals and worship every Sunday. A Rohingya elder who has lived in the Kutupalong camps in Cox's Bazar since 2012 says he knows a man named Nurul Islam and his son who immigrated to America through the aforementioned refugee program. He was influenced by the doctrine of the Trinity and uses his father and relatives in the camp to spread his evil among his people, enticing them with money or promises of resettlement in America and Europe if they accept his invitation.

In this regard, it was discovered that rituals and slogans were being practiced, and Trinitarian programs were being held on Wednesdays and Sundays in the same area (Nurul Islam) where the same person was present. Christian names were being added to the original Rohingya names, such as John and Joseph etc ... It is no secret to many camp residents that the area designated for Christians is known for its lifestyle and prosperity, as they receive funds from unknown but consistent sources in a systematic manner.

The number of those affected and their locations: Three locations are known for these activities, but according to activists and preachers, several other proselytizing activities have been observed in various parts of the camps, such as health and treatment programs, distribution of clothing with cross-shaped designs, teaching of Christian songs and hymns, and glorification of Jesus Christ, among other things. The number of households or families affected by these proselytizing ideas exceeds 71. They conceal their faith when outside their area and in front of strangers for fear of being attacked. Most of them come from the southern part of Maungdaw and Buthi Daung as conservative Rohingya are extremely sensitive to this issue. They say to themselves, "We fled and were driven from our homes for the sake of our religion, so we will not allow anyone to harm it, no matter the cost." They want to prevent it immediately.

What are the missions of FortifyRights group?

The main missions of group are eliminating Islamic identify and promoting Christianity in Rohingya community.

As Rohingya Muslims, we believe that Allah has guided us through the Qur'an and the Sunnah. We want to raise some questions and concerns regarding activities that may go against our Islamic beliefs and values.

1. Why are so called FortifyRights organizations discussing or promoting ideas related to LGBTQ issues in Rohingya refugee communities that do not accept such views based on our religious beliefs?

2. Why are our community leaders, youth representatives, and some religious scholars remaining silent about these concerns?

3. Why are these concerns not being openly discussed in community meetings involving refugees, leaders, and scholars?

4.Why are such topics being discussed in refugee camps when people need education, healthcare, food, protection, and Repatriation ?

5. Who are the responsible people to protect the identity of Islam if foreign missionary organization influence our people?

6. If is a really right group why they always bring ideas that goes against Islam and always stay silent when Muslim women had been r***d by Rohingya christian pastors?

The FortifyRights group also support the Rohingya community but in difference way " Killing a tree by watering it" we should understand this...

M***i Jubaer Ahmad
Jubaer Ahmad

Stop saying We want justice....
Because no one is here to give..

Say We must fight for our justice...

We can't forget what the brutal government and Arakan Army did to us. We waited for more than nine years but changed nothing, It's happening more than before but no one is there to protect those Lives. You tried yourself with voices both on online and offline but changed nothing.

Now, decide yourself what to do?
Who will give you justice?
Who will give you freedom?

Now, it's time for you not to raise voices but to take guns so that, freedom would be come.

You know, some missionary puppets might discourage you if you say the truth because they won't use you anymore if the the solution come.
