في سياق الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز العمل التشاركي وبناء مسار وطني يقوده المجتمع، تواصل منظمة إحياء السلام قيادة عملية مجتمعية تهدف إلى تأسيس شبكة موارد السلام المحلية في سوريا، انطلاقًا من رؤية مشتركة تعكس أولويات الفاعلين المحليين وتجاربهم.

وضمن هذا المسار، شهدت مدينة حمص جلسة حوارية جديدة نُفذت بالتعاون مع جمعية حمص عاصمة السلام ومؤسسة زاد التنموية، حيث جمعت الجلسة ممثلين عن منظمات المجتمع المدني والمبادرات المحلية في مساحة مفتوحة للنقاش والتفكير الجماعي.

تناول المشاركون خلال الجلسة التصور الأنسب لبنية الشبكة، والدور الذي يمكن أن تقوم به في دعم جهود بناء السلام، وتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي، والمساهمة في الحد من النزاعات عبر أدوات محلية تستند إلى الثقة والمعرفة بالسياق.

تأتي هذه الجلسة كجزء من عملية تشاركية أوسع، نعمل من خلالها جنبًا إلى جنب مع موارد السلام المحلية على تعزيزالملكية المجتمعية والعمل المشترك من أجل بناء سلام مستدام ينبع من المجتمعات وبقيادة محلية .

As part of its ongoing commitment to participatory approaches and community-led peacebuilding in Syria, Peace Revival Organization is advancing efforts to establish the Local Peace Resources Network. This initiative is built on a shared vision that reflects the priorities, experiences, and capacities of local actors.
In this context, a consultative dialogue session was recently held in Homs, in collaboration with the Homs Capital of Peace Association and the ZAD Development Foundation. The session brought together representatives of civil society organizations and community initiatives, providing an inclusive platform for dialogue, exchange, and collective reflection.
Participants discussed options for a flexible network structure and examined its strategic role in strengthening peacebuilding efforts, fostering social cohesion, and preventing conflict through trust-based, locally grounded approaches.
This dialogue forms part of a broader participatory process through which Peace Revival Organization works closely with local peace resources to reinforce community ownership, encourage collective action, and lay the foundations for sustainable, locally led peacebuilding across Syria.

تقود منظمة إحياء السلام عملية تشاركية لبناء شبكة موارد السلام المحلية في سوريا للتطوير رؤية مشتركة مجتمعية وفي إطار هذه الجهود عُقدت جلسة حوارية جديدة في الميادين بمحافظة دير الزور بالتعاون مع جمعية سهِم جمعت الجلسة ممثلين عن منظمات المجتمع المدني والمبادرات المجتمعية ناقشوا معًا الهيكل الأكثر فعالية للشبكة ودورها المحتمل في تعزيز السلام والتنمية ودعم الجهود المحلية للحد من النزاعات.

من خلال هذه العملية التشاركية نعمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع فاعلي السلام المحليين لصياغة مستقبل قائم على التعاون والثقة والملكية المشتركة ونسير معًا نحو سلام حقيقي بقيادة محلية

Peace Revival Organization is leading a participatory process to build the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria and to develop a shared, community-driven vision. As part of this effort, a new dialogue session was held in Al-Mayadin, Deir ez-Zor Governorate, in collaboration with Sahem Association.
The session brought together representatives from civil society organizations, volunteer teams, and community initiatives. Together, they discussed the most effective structure for the network and its potential role in promoting peace and supporting local efforts to reduce conflict.
Through this inclusive and collective process, we work side by side with local peace actors to shape a future built on cooperation, trust, and joint ownership, moving together toward genuine, locally led peace.

اليوم حوارنا من دير الزور
في رحلة بناء شبكة موارد السلام المحلية في سوريا تواصل منظمة أحياء السلام العمل مع المجتمعات المحلية لتطوير رؤية مشتركة تنطلق من رؤية الفاعليين المحليين وتجاربهم وتحدياتهم اليومية.
شهدت دير الزور اجلسة حوارية جديدة بالتعاون مع جمعية روّاد الأمل حيث اجتمع ممثلو منظمات مدنية،فرق تطوعية، ومبادرات مجتمعية حول طاولة واحدة لمناقشة الشكل الأمثل للشبكة ودورها في تعزيز السلام داخل المجتمع.
ما تقوم به في إحياء السلام اليوم ليس مجرد لقاءات بل خطوة جماعية وتشاركية نحو مستقبل نشارك بصناعته جميعاً خطوة تعكس روح التعاون وتعزز مساراً يقود إلى سلام محلي بقيادة محلية

Today, Our Dialogue Comes from Deir Ezzor

As part of the ongoing process to establish the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria, Peace Revival continues to work closely with local communities to shape a shared vision grounded in the perspectives, experiences, and daily challenges of local actors.

A new dialogue session was held today in Deir Ezzor, in collaboration with Ruwad Al-Amal Association, bringing together representatives of civil society organizations, volunteer teams, and community initiatives. Participants collectively discussed the most effective structure for the network and its role in strengthening peace within their communities.

What Peace Revival is undertaking today goes beyond individual meetings—it represents a collective and participatory step toward a future co-created with local communities. This effort reflects a spirit of cooperation and reinforces a path toward locally led peace, shaped and driven by the community itself.

After a period of preparation and renewal, we are back with a fresh spirit and safe spaces for dialogue and interaction.
Ara’a Forum
It is a civil, social, and cultural dialogue space designed to provide an inclusive platform for all Syrians to share their news, experiences, cultures, and resources in pursuit of a more peaceful future.
It serves as a safe venue for learning, sharing knowledge, and building trust among Syrians and institutions. The forum aims to strengthen relationships within civil society and enhance participants’ roles through interaction, coordination, and networking.
The forum seeks to inspire ideas and foster constructive critical discussions that contribute to the sustainability of peacebuilding processes, the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the promotion of awareness on contemporary issues of citizenship, human rights, justice, and governance locally, regionally, and globally.

Ara’a Forum was founded by Peace Revival Organization, out of its belief in the importance of dialogue and networking in strengthening coexistence, promoting a culture of peace, and respecting diversity, while also coordinating efforts and developing advocacy strategies for community issues of shared concern.

A New Step Toward Establishing the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria
Peace Revival continues its efforts to develop the Terms of Reference for establishing the Local Peace Resources Network, in coordination with local peace actors. This initiative was advanced through a new session held in the city of Jisr al-Shughur, in partnership with the SYRIAN WOMEN Association [ SWA] and with the participation of several local organizations and community-based initiatives.
This meeting is part of a participatory process aimed at strengthening coordination among local stakeholders and aligning visions toward building a community-based structure capable of leading peace efforts from within. It stems from our belief that genuine peace begins within society itself.
• We deeply value the presence and contributions of all participants and affirm that these efforts represent another step forward in building peace together — through local leadership.

سعداء في منظمة أحياء السلام بأن نكون أحد الشركاء ضمن مشروع القيادة والمشاركة الفعّالة (MinRef LEAD) المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي، وبقيادة وحدة تمكين منظمات المجتمع المدني في منظمة بسمة وزيتونة.
جاءت مشاركتنا في "ورشة التشبيك الأولى"، التي عُقدت يومي الخميس والجمعة، 24 – 25 تموز 2025 في مدينة غازي عنتاب – تركيا، والتي هدفت إلى استعراض واقع منظمات المجتمع المدني والإنساني في تركيا .
ركّزت الورشة على تعميق الفهم حول أنشطة المناصرة، وفتح مساحة آمنة للتواصل والتشبيك بين المنظمات الشريكة، إضافةً إلى تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات مع المنظمات المحلية والدولية الفاعلة في مجال المجتمع المدني، بما يسهم في بناء شراكات أكثر فاعلية واستدامة لخدمة المجتمعات.

We are delighted at Peace Revival Organization to be one of the partners in the Leadership and Effective Participation Project (MinRef LEAD), funded by the European Union and led by the Civil Society Enablement Unit of Basmeh and Zeitooneh.

Our participation in the First Networking Workshop, held on Thursday and Friday, July 24–25, 2025, in Gaziantep, Türkiye, provided an important opportunity to review and discuss the current landscape of civil and humanitarian organizations operating in Türkiye.

The workshop focused on deepening understanding of advocacy activities, creating a safe space for communication and networking among partner organizations, and strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange with local and international civil society actors all to build more effective and sustainable partnerships that serve communities and promote positive change.

Peace Revival Continues Consultative Dialogues with Local Peace Resources in Syria
As part of its ongoing efforts to establish the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria, Peace Revival Organization (PRO) continues its consultative meetings with local peace resources across different regions of the country.
Recently, a new consultative session was held in Sarmada, Idlib Governorate, in collaboration with the (Hope Makers) Volunteer Team, as part of a series of inclusive dialogues aimed at refining the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the Network and defining its future strategic priorities.
Peace Revival believes that sustainable peace cannot be imposed externally—it must be built from within communities themselves, through participatory approaches, inclusive dialogue, and collective ownership rooted in local realities.
The Local Peace Resources Network seeks to connect and empower local civil society organizations, community-based initiatives, and volunteer teams to strengthen their collective role in promoting peace, social cohesion, and community resilience throughout Syria.
We invite all local organizations, volunteer groups, and community initiatives to join the Network and contribute to building community-driven, sustainable peace in Syria.

On the International Day of Peace, we reaffirm our commitment to building sustainable, community-led peace in Syria.
As part of launching the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria, and with the participation of local civil society organizations, youth initiatives, and volunteer teams, Peace Revival, in collaboration with the White Heart Humanitarian Association, held a consultative session in Afrin to discuss and develop the network’s Terms of Reference (TOR).
The network aims to:
• Strengthen locally led peacebuilding efforts.
• Create inclusive spaces for dialogue and coordination among community actors.
• Build the capacities of volunteer teams and community-based initiatives (CBOs) to become active peace resources in their communities.
• Foster partnerships and unify efforts to enhance social cohesion and respond to conflicts.
We invite all local organizations, volunteer groups, and community initiatives interested in joining the network to contribute to building sustainable, community-driven peace.
Together, on this International Day of Peace, we affirm that true peace begins within communities — with local leadership at its core.
