Syrian Expatriate Medical Association - SEMA

Syrian Expatriate Medical Association - SEMA It is the right of every Syrian person even when participating in an opposing protest, to get the full medical treatment in the public hospital and others.

As to feel about the historical responsibility for our great people in those tough circumstances where our people have revolutionized to get the dignity and freedom, and as we have the professional and humanitarian responsibility for the results of the Syrian security forces using as the toughest tools to suppress the protesters such as the bloodshed and violating the rights of wounded people in t

reatment, so our association is praying for a mercy for the souls of martyrs, and have a deep worry about the health and humanitarian situations, and asking officially for the following:

Saving the right of peaceful protest that the Syrian constitution guaranteed, and not using violence to suppress the protestors, which results the murder, psychological and bodily abuse. All medical staff who are giving the first aid treatments must be allowed to do their job freely and safely, and also there must be a quit for preventing from accessing wounded people in any way possible, and everyone has to respect the ambulances, vehicles and facilities that the medical staff are using to do their humanitarian job. We ask for breaking the siege immediately on all cities and towns all around Syria, and we emphasize that this kind of siege has consequences of violating the human right that the international law imposes punishments on, and those violations are such like:

Preventing wounded people and patients with chronic diseases from having medical aid, which results declining their overall health situation. Preventing civil people and especially women and children from the essentials of life such as food and medication, and getting them into the toughest kind of intimidation such as invading their homes, murder and arbitrary arrest, which causes very complicated psychological and bodily diseases for them that could be eventually hard to treat. Continuing the severance of electricity and water from the sieged cities, results a serious damage on the hospitals inside these cities and preventing them to do their job. Reports coming from Syria indicate about some staff working in the medical domain such as doctors and nurses and others are stripped of humanity and professional ethics, and committing crimes that the international law is punishing for, such as bad treatment of wounded people who have opposing opinion, and sometimes their horrible crimes reach the degree of finishing of the wounded people, and from our professional situation we are observing those crimes and others to report them to the international courts, unless they are internally deterred, and in the same time, we encourage the faithful colleagues who are giving the health care to patients and wounded people in these hard circumstances. We ask for an allowance for both Foreign and local relief agencies to enter all cities to do their humanitarian job as soon as possible. Starting from our eagerness to achieve more coordination in the domain of medical relief, we decided to create the association’s page which is concerned about the medical relief affairs and what they need as a financial support, with the attempt to get it inside Syria, and for that it aims to reaching communication with the faithful brothers of the medical professions in Syria to respond to all their financial and material needs. And Allah is of the intent behind.

As part of the “Eid Joy” initiative, 428 children — including children with disabilities, juveniles, orphans, and vulnerable families — benefited after careful assessment to ensure support reached those who truly need it.

It was not just assistance…
It was real joy, genuine smiles, and hearts that felt seen and cared for.

Thank you to everyone who helped create these moments… and together, we continue the journey of giving to reach even more children.

Every minute can make a difference… when incubators are not enough.

In neonatal units, there are babies born too soon, struggling to take their very first breaths.

But with a shortage of incubators, the chance is not available for everyone… and some are left waiting for a device that may not arrive in time.

An incubator is not just a medical device — it is a complete life-support environment that protects the baby, regulates their breathing and temperature, and gives them the chance to grow and survive.

Today, there is an urgent need to provide more incubators to save the lives of these babies who simply cannot afford to wait.

In these blessed nights, your generosity can be the difference between danger and life, between fear and reassurance.

Your donation today could give a child a new chance at life… so do not hesitate.

In these blessed days, as we seek Laylat al-Qadr, many patients in Syria are still waiting for a glimpse of hope.

A kidney patient in need of a dialysis session to stay alive, a mother awaiting safe care during childbirth, a newborn struggling to take their first breaths, and patients who urgently need life-saving surgeries they cannot afford.

Thanks to your support, we have been able to continue providing these vital services through mobile clinics, dialysis sessions, reproductive health hospitals, and life-saving surgical operations. Yet the continuation of this hope, after God’s will, depends on your generosity and your support for the most vulnerable patients.

In these blessed nights — which may hold Laylat al-Qadr, better than a thousand months — your donation could be the reason a life is saved, a patient’s pain is eased, and hope is restored to an entire family.

Do not miss the virtue of these blessed days…
Your donation today could save someone’s life.
