Foreigners Shutter Fest is a photography festival organized by the Foreigners in Bursa Working Group during the Months of May and June, about our vision of Bursa as foreigners: how do we see everyday life whether it be through the people, the streets or specific places that inspire us in this city? There will be Four main parts to the Shutter Fest Event:
A Photography Workshop: Not sure how to us
e a camera? We've scheduled a beginner and a slightly more advanced workshop to take place in mid May. Stay tuned for the signup sheet. Photo Walk: Take your skills to the streets on May 11th. Tour the old city with a professional photographer, Caglar Sapolyo. If you have time, join us for dinner and a whirling dervishes show. Photo Contest: Calling all amateur foreigner photographers in Bursa. Submit your Bursa photos between May 1st and May 23rd. You'll upload your photos on our page anonymously. Limited to two entries per person, please. Exhibition: The top 30 submitted photos (as voted by you and professional judges) will be printed and displayed at Tayyare Cultural Center & Gren Cafe (in Altiparmak & FSM).
