The Reason For Our Establishment
Many businessmen organizations in Turkey are limited to the goal of uniting local entrepreneurs and investors. As founders, we realized in our many researches that Antalya, a leading international and touristic city in the world, does not have a business association that will bring foreign entrepreneurs together under one roof, meet with Turkish entrepreneurs with
international goals and develop synergy, provide members with connections and solidarity, and that there is a great need for such an association. The foreign entrepreneurs and investors we interviewed stated that they wanted to do business with Turks, but factors such as language and cultural differences, difficulties in accessing secure trade channels caused them to either not show the necessary commercial enterprise courage or not reach where they needed to be commercially. Similarly, Turkish business people stated their problems and hesitations for commercial investments and activities they wanted to make with foreigners, and stated that they could not reach the business volume they targeted for this reason. In order to overcome these difficulties and to promote secure trade as an independent civil organization, we, as expert founders and entrepreneurs, established this association. Our Establishment Process:
We officially established our association on March 7, 2024. Our association is registered with the Antalya Provincial Civil Society Relations Directorate with the registry number 07-044-116. The full name of our association registered in the registry is: Antalya International Business People, Trade and Cooperation Association, and we also use the abbreviation IBP, which is the initials of the abbreviation we use in English as “International Business People”. In the near future, we will open branches and representative offices in Turkey's leading commercial cities and in countries that are among Turkey's priority targets in terms of trade. We currently have a large candidate potential for these branches and representative offices. Our association, which was established with 7 founding members, held its first general assembly on September 5, 2024 and formed its legally mandatory bodies. Our new board of directors has detailed and strengthened the organizational chart. As the first internal organizational innovation, 3 commissions were established to bring together business people who will carry out activities in English, Russian and Turkish and to carry out activities in these languages:
- English Speaking Business People Commission
- Russian Speaking Business People Commission
- Turkish Speaking Business People Commission. Our efforts to establish an Arabic Speaking Business People Commission in Arabic continue. Our membership acceptance commission and board of directors meticulously examine new members who are reliable, hardworking and have good commercial reputations and increase the number of members. Although our association is newly established, it has started to consolidate its target audience of business people rapidly and has started to attract interest from many cities in Turkey and the world to become a part of our community. With the participation of very respected names in the 2 events organized by our association for the purpose of getting to know each other so far, the event has attracted great interest and attention to the association in a short time. Consuls of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign entrepreneurs, leading NGO representatives of the Antalya Business World, representatives of NGOs formed by almost all foreign nationals in Antalya, partners and managers of large construction and industrial companies, respected accounting, customs, finance and law experts, etc. Our Goal

1-Chairman of the Board of Directors Ilhan Subaşı Lawyer Lawyer İlhan Subaşı was born in 1985 in Şanlıurfa and is a lawyer registered with the Antalya Bar Association. He is actively working in his own law firm (www.subasilaw.com) in Muratpaşa, Antalya. Lawyer İlhan Subaşı, who speaks English and Russian at a professional level, provides legal services in these languages and Turkish. In addition, he has become a lawyer recommended to his citizens by many consulates, including American, British and Iranian consulates. He received his master's degree in International Business Law in California, USA of America and has extensive experience and network in this field in Istanbul and Antalya. He has experience in working with many foreign and domestic real and legal persons. He completed his bachelor's degree in law at Yeditepe University, his master's degree in International Commercial Law in California, USA, his master's degree in Private Law at Galatasaray University and his doctorate in law at Istanbul University. He is the author of the book "Physician's Obligation to Inform – Informed Consent – Liability for Compensation", which is on sale in many bookstores in Turkey, published by Seçkin Bookstore.
2 – Vice President Ozgur Baran Atlas Lawyer Our founding member and vice president is a lawyer who was born in Antalya, is registered with the Antalya Bar Association and has extensive experience in the field of commercial law in Istanbul and Antalya. He works in his own law firm (www.atlas.av.tr) in Muratpaşa, Antalya. It provides legal services in Turkish and English.
3-Secretary General Irmak Durna Real Estate Consultant – Banker – Insurer Our member, who was born in 1975 in Burdur/Bucak, completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Antalya and received his undergraduate education in the fields of Tourism Management and Business Administration at Istanbul University. He started his banking career in 1996 at Akbank Tuesday Pazarı Branch and continued for 20 years by carrying out innovative projects in areas such as system development, product development and marketing at various Akbank branches in Antalya. In this process, a commercial loan project that he led from the foundation to market presentation and marketing is still used by the bank. After his banking career, he decided to live abroad and gained experience in Australia and Tasmania, then returned to Turkey and served in the field of insurance and claims consultancy in Antalya. Since 1996, he has worked at Keller Williams based in Texas for 3 years with the aim of transferring his knowledge in the finance and insurance sectors to the real estate sector, and currently works as an S5 Certified Real Estate Consultant at VPT Group Real Estate (https://vptgroup.com.tr/). 4-Treasurer Hasan Erzi Attorney at Law – Trademark Patent Attorney He was born in Osmaniye in 1984 and graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Law (with full scholarship). Since 2010, he has been working as a lawyer in his own law firm, registered with the Adana Bar Association. Lawyer Erzi, who has deep knowledge and experience in his legal career, especially in the fields of Labor Law, Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law, also provides competent attorneyship services before the Turkish Trademark and Patent Office as a Trademark and Patent Attorney. As a Labor Law Qualified Calculations Expert registered with Adana Regional Board of Expertise, he has prepared reports for approximately 2000 files and carried out comprehensive analyzes to date. He works effectively as an expert mediator in employee-employer disputes, consumer litigation, commercial disputes and industrial property rights. 5- Member of the Board of Directors Natalia Panasenko Lawyer – Contractor – Real Estate Consultant He is of Russian origin and came to Turkey as an investor many years ago and then became a Turkish citizen. Natalia Panasenko, who speaks Turkish at a good level as well as her mother tongue Russian and has many years of experience as a lawyer in her country of origin, Russia, is the owner of Antalya Paradise Construction and Real Estate company in Konyaaltı, Antalya, and is an investor who has attracted foreign investors to Turkey with many projects she has undertaken and completed so far. 6- Member of the Board of Directors Zeynep Tas Educator Born in Konya in 1980, she graduated from Selcuk University, Department of Preschool Teaching. She has been working with children with special education needs for 12 years with the Support Education Specialist certificate. After working in the accounting department in the construction sector for many years, he started to serve in his own independent Financial Consultancy office (https://www.abdullahdeveci.com.tr/) since 1990. Although it operates in Antalya, it provides financial consultancy services to many domestic and foreign companies in other cities. In addition, he served as an expert witness and concordat commissioner in the courthouse and still provides services to companies in the fields of financial consultancy, social security consultancy, domestic and foreign company establishments, company transfer, merger, division and liquidation transactions. At the same time, within the scope of the e-transformation process, he carries out the activities of e-invoice, e-document, e-ledger applications and the establishment and management of the accounting departments of the companies together with his team. 8-Member of the Board of Directors Hakan Engin Corporate Marketing and External Relations Specialist Born in 1975, our member graduated from Uludag University, Department of International Relations and currently works as the Corporate Marketing and External Relations Manager of OFM (Antalya) Hospital.
9-Chairman of the Supervisory Board Sinem Yildirim Real Estate Specialist A graduate of Schiller International University, London, our member is a real estate broker who owns VPT Group Real Estate (https://vptgroup.com.tr/). The company, which offers its services in many languages and has many foreign commercial connections, has achieved a significant number of sales and rentals with many domestic and foreign customers.
10-Member of the Supervisory Board Ibrahim Subasi Tax Specialist - Lawyer Born in 1974, he graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration and Kocaeli University, Faculty of Law. He works as a Revenue Specialist at the Ministry of Finance. He also serves as a legal mediator in the field of out-of-litigation resolution of private law disputes and binding them in the form of court decisions.
