❤️ **RÜZGAR IS ON THE WAY HOME!** ❤️

Ruzgar has been at the vet after suffering a terrifying and very heavy nosebleed from one nostril.

Thankfully, all his blood tests came back negative. The vet believes the bleeding was caused by a fungal infection, which has now been treated. He has not had another bleed for several days, so if all goes well, Ruzgar will leave the clinic tomorrow.** 🙏

There is also treatment for his previously operated-on leg, which he still cannot use. The vet will give him a special injection between the bones to encourage cartilage growth, followed by tablets to continue supporting cartilage growth.

We are hoping this treatment will give his leg a chance to improve. ❤️

The bill so far is:

🩺 Blood tests: 7,000 TL (£110)**
💊 Treatment: 8,000 TL (£125)**
Total: 15,000 TL (£235)**

This is another large bill for my small rescue, and I would be extremely grateful for any donation towards Ruzgar's treatment.

I rescued Molly as a kitten about eight years ago now. She had a dislocated shoulder which meant I had to keep her in my flat with her leg bandaged to her body for ten days. There was no way I could put her back on the street after she recovered which brings us up to today. As is often the case with cats at her age, she needs some teeth removing. With nearly eighty cats and dogs in my care such extras are beyond my Turkish pension.

This is the third time I have had to post about my lovely, gentle Rüzgar.

My first post was about finding him lying in the middle of the road. My vet discovered that he had two cracked hips after being hit by a car. Luckily, he only needed two weeks without movement to solve the problem.

My second post was when he needed an operation to repair a torn ligament. He had injured it while running around like mad in his run-cage with his friends. Unfortunately, because I did not have enough funds at the time, the operation had to be delayed. During that delay, the muscles in his leg wasted away, and sadly his leg didn't improve after the operation, as you can see in today’s video.

Now we have another worrying problem.

While Rüzgar was eating today, a large amount of blood suddenly started gushing from his nose.

I have noticed him declining recently, even though he is still eating well, and I am becoming increasingly worried about him.

After everything this lovely, gentle boy has already been through, he desperately needs to see a vet again for his leg and to deal with today's problem.

Please help if you can.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help Rüzgar recover and give him the chance of a wonderful forever home abroad one day.

He really is a lovely young dog and he deserves a wonderful life.

This young dog will be going to Germany when his three-month waiting period is over.

He has already been prepared for travel, but he still needs one more parasite treatment and a special collar to protect him from leishmania — a terrible disease carried by sandflies, which are everywhere on the Mediterranean coast.

The cost for this is 2,000 TL / £32.

Donations towards his treatment and protective collar would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps keep him safe until he can travel.

A young male cat has decided to settle at my neighbours’ house. He is friendly, and he has now been successfully neutered at the local shelter.

Unfortunately, my neighbours are not happy about having a second cat around, and they are threatening to dump him somewhere away from their house. This means he is on borrowed time.

He is neutered, friendly, and looking for a safe place before something bad happens to him.

If anyone can offer him a home, please get in touch.

This street cat was booked in at the local shelter for treatment and spaying, but before her appointment, her condition got much worse.

She had not eaten for days, so I called the shelter and asked if they could take her in early. Unfortunately, there were no vets there to help her at that time, so I had no choice but to take her to a private vet. That visit cost 3,000 TL / £48 — money from my already limited funds for the animals in my care.

In the end, she did get to the shelter. They removed a crooked tooth that had been stopping her from eating, and she was also spayed. During the operation, an abscess in her ear burst, and blood and infected fluid came out.

Thankfully, she is now back on the land next to my apartment and is eating again.

Because she was so frightened at the vet’s, she appeared more alert than she really was, even though she was still very unwell.

Donations towards her private vet bill would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps.

This cat appeared outside my apartment a while ago, so I started feeding him. The next morning, he was still in exactly the same spot. I could see that he was very scared, and I felt sure he was not a normal street cat.

I took him to my vet, and we discovered that he was microchipped. He had been reported lost more than two years ago.

He needed to be neutered and also needed some teeth extracted. His owner agreed to pay for this. However, after the operation, he started wobbling and falling over. At first, an ear infection was suspected, and treatment was started.

Sadly, his condition did not improve, so I asked for full blood work. The tests showed that he has a serious infection. I cannot remember the exact name, but his treatment has now been changed accordingly.

The blood tests and new treatment have been added to my bill. This is an extra cost for me, and I really need donations to help cover it.

This poor cat survived on the streets for more than two years. He deserves every chance to feel well again and to find a safe, loving home.
