International Tourism Cartoon Competition http://tourismcartoon.org International Tourism Cartoon Competition is held by Anatolia: A Journal of Tourism Research.

The objective of the competition, which was first held in 2009, is to examine tourism, which is one of the biggest sectors in the world, with its various dimensions. Also, the competition aims to put forward cartoonists’ aspects in terms of travelling population’s experiences and relations during their travel. In this respect, the main objective of this competition is to assess such topics, develo

pments and experiences within the tourism industry as accomodation, transportation, food and beverage, recreation, sightseeing, museums, envirenment, tourist-resident relationships, from cartoonists’ point of view. Competition is held annually and is open to all cartoonists from all over the world, both amateur and professional.

THE FINALISTS OF THE 17TH INTERNATIONAL TOURISM CARTOON COMPETITION HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR PUBLIC REVIEW

A total of 337 cartoonists from 48 countries participated in the 17th International Tourism Cartoon Competition with 570 works. Following a two-stage evaluation carried out between 13–19 January 2026 by the Preliminary Selection Jury—consisting of Mehmet KAHRAMAN, Nuhsal IŞIN, Murteza ALBAYRAK, Necdet YILMAZ, Mehmet ZEBER, Halit KURTULMUŞ, and Merve OFLUOĞLU—73 works were selected as finalists: 41 in the Youth Category and 32 in the Adult Category.

The images of the finalist works are available on the website address provided below. THE FINALIST WORKS WILL BE OPEN FOR OBJECTION AND REVIEW BETWEEN 24–31 JANUARY 2026.
