ENYC & CEV “S&G” has been founded with two aspects such as SYSTEM and GENERATION by gathering of leading civil society institutions, various sectors of the society, EU experts, youth, youth workers, youth trainers, university represe
ntatives and artistic societies in 2008. S&G has been established to inform Youth about youth activities undertaken through the way of membership of Turkey, both inside and outside the country,
*to coordinate the different YouTHere Activities with a view to ensure a civil participation in the integration process,
*to lead and promote Youth for active participation,
*to establish platforms and necessary new institutions, both inside and outside the country, in order to cooperate and join forces, through the integration process, with civil society institutions, public and private sector, various organizations and enterprises, member and candidate state representatives;
*to encourage youth by establishing partnership and transnational exchanges, preparing a common environment for Turkish and European youths to inform and support for running European Projects,
*to promote young people’s active citizenship; *to develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion;
*to foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries;
*to contribute development in the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organisations in the youth field.
*to increase the awareness of youth, NGOs, universities on project management, preparation, ex*****on and assessment
*to support youth about taking initiatives in entrepreneurship. System and Generation gets into the act about; increasing of economic growth, social and
sustainable development, fostering Intercultural Citizenship Education, promoting tolerance
and harmonious co-existence, working on migration and refugee related issues, encouraging
social entrepreneurship initiatives, social inclusion of people with disabilities and fewer
opportunities. We aim to create Volunteer Development Centre in Ankara/Turkey with the following overall
objectives:
- to contribute for developing a sustainable civil society dialogue between Turkey and EU
CSOs.
- to create a mutual understanding of volunteering and promote it as a value for everyone.
- to create maintenance of a favorable environment for volunteers and voluntary activities.
- to adopt various approaches to mobilize and facilitate volunteering.
- to establish long term sustainable cooperation at local, regional and national levels between
CSOs in Turkey and their European counterparts on areas within the scope of the promotion
and support to volunteers and volunteering in collaboration with public sector as well. S&G is : -Head of Turkish Network of Anna Lindh Foundation, Board Member of ENYC(European Network of Youth Centers); EurodeskTR Local Relay and, Member of CEV European Volunteer Centre and Eurodesk TR Local Relay at Ankara. Activities and Experience:
Field of Works: Youth (TC/YE/Volunteering/Seminar/Conferences), Migration and Refugees,
People with Disabilities and Fewer Opportunities, Intercultural Citizenship Education, Non-
Formal Education, Social Development, Language and Culture Education, Art & Sport,
Social Entrepreneurship, Environment. European Voluntary Service/ European Solidarity Corps and Management: S&G is
accredited organization for Hosting-Coordinating-Sending volunteers under the frame of
EVS/ESC. Our association has hosted in Turkey several dozens of projects in
youth field such as TC, YE, seminars, study sessions, conferences etc. with the participation of
more than 800 and has sent abroad more than 700. Our implemented projects for the last two years:
