Speaking at the International Domestic Workers’ Day event, Yasser Hassan, Director of the ILO Office for Türkiye, emphasized that advancing decent work for domestic workers requires recognition, formalization and access to comprehensive social protection.
Care is not a cost. It is an investment in people, equality and the future.

Uluslararası Ev İşçileri Günü etkinliğinde konuşan ILO Türkiye Ofisi Direktörü Yasser Hassan, ev işçileri için insana yakışır işin geliştirilmesinin; ev işlerinin tanınmasını, kayıtlı istihdamın teşvik edilmesini ve kapsamlı sosyal korumaya erişimin sağlanmasını gerektirdiğini vurguladı.
Bakım bir maliyet değildir. İnsanlara, eşitliğe ve geleceğe yapılan bir yatırımdır.

At the International Domestic Workers’ Day event, İbrahim Özçelik, Deputy Director General of Insurance Premiums at the Social Security Institution, highlighted ongoing efforts to expand social security coverage and tackle informality among domestic workers.
The ILO and SSI continue working together to make social protection a reality for domestic workers.

Uluslararası Ev İşçileri Günü etkinliğinde konuşan SGK Sigorta Primleri Genel Müdür Yardımcısı İbrahim Özçelik, ev işçilerinin sosyal güvenlik kapsamının genişletilmesi ve kayıt dışılıkla mücadeleye yönelik çalışmaları paylaştı.
ILO Türkiye Ofisi ve SGK, ev işçileri için sosyal güvenliği gerçeğe dönüştürmek amacıyla iş birliğini sürdürmektedir.
