We conducted a field visit to observe the implementation of the MIRAE Project – Support for Syrians under Temporary Protection in Türkiye, with the participation of Sukjong Boo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Türkiye; Y. Ramazan Saygılı, Secretary General of Türk Kızılay; and representatives of the relevant institutions.

Implemented through the cooperation of Türk Kızılay, the Korean Red Cross and the Republic of Korea, the project aims to address the protection, psychosocial support and social cohesion needs of Syrians under temporary protection and host communities through a comprehensive approach.

Across seven provinces, the MIRAE Project provides mobile child-friendly spaces, protection and psychosocial support, specialized MHPSS services, food and hygiene assistance, and capacity-strengthening activities.

Every drop of clean water is the beginning of a new life. 💧

Through the water wells we build in areas where access to water is limited, we are helping families in need gain access to safe drinking water. ❤️🌙

In Venezuela, any sense of time has disappeared at the disaster sites.

Amid the fumes of generators and the deafening noise of heavy machinery clearing massive concrete slabs, it feels like a race against time.

Teams deployed from Türkiye under the coordination of AFAD are working with the same unwavering dedication as the Venezuelan search and rescue teams. Debris removal operations continue, and every heartbeat is filled with hope for the faintest sound from beneath the rubble. Every effort is focused on saving even one more life. 🇹🇷🇻🇪
