🏆 Friendship started on the pitch and was celebrated on Belgian National Day.

In June 2026, the Ankara Football Festival (Mini World Cup) was organized by Çankaya Municipality, in cooperation with the Embassies of Canada and Mexico, in honor of the host nations of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament brought together diplomatic missions, celebrating friendship through sport.

Representing the Embassy of Belgium, our team—formed by members of the Turkish Belgian Friendship and Cultural Association— proudly won the championship through teamwork, determination, and fair play.

This memorable achievement was celebrated during the Belgian National Day Reception. More than a trophy, the victory symbolized the enduring friendship between Belgium and Türkiye and the power of sport to connect people across cultures.

As the Turkish Belgian Friendship and Cultural Association, we remain committed to strengthening the ties between our two countries through culture, dialogue, and sport.
