22 emerging young leaders of adolescent boys in 'Eua Island attended our two days camping program. Sessions like self-esteem equipped these teenage boys to value and respect themselves as it is critical to shape their mental health and guides their decision- making skills. They also understood what Gender - Based Violence is and identified types of violence in school, at home and in the community and how they can help resolve it - becoming Male Champions!
A big Malo 'Aupito to the 'Eua Island Government Representative, Mr Tuipulotu Lauaki for supporting our program. And to our Focal Point, Miss Malia Lemeki and Sato for your support. And to all the boy's parents and guardians.
This program is part of our EmpowerHer project in partnership with Alinea International funded by the Government of Canada 🇨🇦.
