🇩🇿 L’Algérie, une direction générale dédiée à l’arbitrage international, un acteur majeur dans le développement de l’arbitrage commercial international

Depuis 2018, notre Conseil CCA Afrique du Nord œuvre activement au développement et à la promotion de l’arbitrage commercial international en Algérie, à travers l’organisation de plusieurs formations, séminaires, conférences et rencontres professionnelles réunissant magistrats, avocats, universitaires, juristes, experts et professionnels du monde des affaires.

Cette démarche s’inscrit dans notre volonté de contribuer à la diffusion d’une véritable culture de l’arbitrage et des modes alternatifs de règlement des différends, et de renforcer les compétences des professionnels face aux exigences croissantes du commerce et de l’investissement internationaux.

Au fil des années, ces initiatives ont permis de créer des espaces d’échange et de coopération entre les acteurs algériens et les institutions spécialisées dans l’arbitrage en Afrique du Nord et à l’international. Le CCA continuera à accompagner cette dynamique et à contribuer au rayonnement de l’arbitrage commercial international en Algérie, dans un esprit de coopération, d’expertise et de rapprochement entre les professionnels de la région. ⚖️🌍

L’Algérie a créé une direction générale dédiée à l’arbitrage international. Un décret exécutif publié au Journal officiel n° 56 précise les missions, les compétences et l’organisation de cette nouvelle structure, placée auprès des services du Premier ministre ou du Chef du Gouvernement.

Selon le décret exécutif n° 26-270 du 1er août 2026, « il est créé au sein des services du Premier ministre ou du Chef du Gouvernement, selon le cas, une direction générale de l’arbitrage international ». Cette nouvelle entité est exclusivement compétente en matière d’arbitrage international.
