Créé en 1968, aux Etats Unis par le Rotary International, le ROTARACT compte aujourd’hui 10 000 clubs regroupant 200 000 membres dans 180 pays du monde. Le mouvement doit son nom à la contraction de deux mots : Rotary et Action. Il a pour but de mettre en relation des jeunes du monde entier afin de développer un réseau d’amitié et de service. Un club Rotaract est toujours parrainé, guidé et conseillé par un Rotary Club.
