TCCE, the Tunisian Center Of Civic Engagement, is a non-governmental organization that operates within the field of civic engagement. The TCCE advocates Agency learning through volunteering and altruistic activities that promote ethicality and integrity. Tatawa3 is a project that works on matching, through an online platform, active young citizens interested in volunteering with causes according t
o their skills, location and interests. The main goal of this platform, initiated by the TCCE and to be launched very soon, is to facilitate, enhance and strengthen the collaboration of these two entities in the field of civic engagement and active citizenship, within the new democratic Tunisia. This project has different goals:
- Maintain an extensive database of volunteers and volunteering opportunities in the community - integrate volunteering as a value in the Tunisian educational system and college life
- Work to make volunteering as a graduation requirement within Tunisian Universities.
