Le Rotaract a été créé en 1968 aux États-Unis par le Rotary International. Son nom vient de la contraction des termes ROTary et ACTion. Il existe aujourd'hui à travers le monde plus de 7.500 clubs Rotaract, dans 156 pays, avec plus de 173.000 membres. Notre club est une organisation internationale de charité,apolitique et en dehors de toutes convictions religieuses. Ses membres, dénommés rotaractiens, ont entre 18 et 30 ans, et consacrent bénévolement une partie de leur temps à aider les gens dans le besoin par le biais d'actions régionales, nationales ou internationales. Il permet également aux rotaractiens de développer des relations de camaraderie, d'accroître leur connaissance intellectuelles et professionnelles qui les aideront dans leur développement personnel et de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension entre les nations. Rotaract was created into 1968 in the United States by Rotary International. Its name comes from the contraction from the ROTary terms and Action. There exists aujourd' today throughout the world more than 7.500 Rotaract clubs, in 156 countries, with more than 173.000 members. Our club is an international organization of charity, apolitical and apart from all religious convictions. Its members, called rotaractiens, have between 18 and 30 years, and voluntarily devote part of their time to help people in the need by the means d' regional, national or international actions. It also makes it possible the rotaractiens to develop relations of friendship, d' to increase their knowledge intellectual and professional which will help them in their personal development and to contribute to a better comprehension between the nations.
