At the invitation of the Association for Citizenship and Sustainable Development (ACDD), The Medina of Gafsa Safeguard Association participated, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Gabès, in a regional workshop for the exchange of experiences and strategic reflections on the theme: Good practices for adaptation to climate change in southern Tunisia. 40 representatives of associations from Sfax, Gafsa, Tozeur, Kébili, Tataouine, Médenine and Gabès participated in this workshop, as part of the Climate Change Adaptation Week organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature - North Africa (WWF-NA) in partnership with the National Forum for Adaptation to Climate Change (FNACC) in Tunisia.
Five collective experiences in climate change, carried out in Kerkennah (ACG), Kébili (Joussour), Gabès (AZHST), Beni Khedich (ACDD) and Djerba. (ASIDJE), were presented. The sixth experience linked to the Tunisian Network on Climate Change (TNCC), established in July 2020 within the framework of the MS3C project (WWF-NA) and strengthened in 2023 through the RESILIENCE project (WWF-NA), was also presented.
